I am new to Riteaid +up. Looks like +Up rewards gets accumulated on the account itself. When I buy something, before I use the manufactures coupon, the +Up on the account gets deducted... so if the value goes behind, I am not able to use the MC. How do you all get around this issue?

John Frieda foam haircolor is $12.99 with a $3 +Up (limit 3). I recently got a coupon in the mail from RA for buy 1 get 1 free on this. It's my wife's favorite haircolor, so I will be buying it. Will probably wait until the end of the week to see if there will be a new coupon for it in next week's paper (plus I want to extend the +Up to not expire 2 weekends from now).

There's a $1/1 Chapstick coupon in this week's email. Not sure if it can be used to make a deal.

Perhaps the easiest away to prevent +UPs being deducted before you can get your man Qs redeemed is asking a cashier at the store to opt-out your card from receiving digital +UPs. Tell the cashier you wish to receive paper +UPs and they have a process at the register they can do to opt-out your Wellness card. Another option if you don't opt out is to give the cashier your man Qs first before you allow them to scan your Wellness card. That will always allow you to use your man Qs before digital +UPs loaded to your card are applied.

Bummer that you got a B1G1 free coupon from Rite Aid instead of the FREE (up to $12.99) from Rite Aid that I got about 1 month ago. I used it the first week of December so I don't remember the expiration (12/31/12?). If you have a Walgreens around, there is a $2 off coupon that I found there. It is a coupon booklet that says "save $3". There are 2 coupons in there, $2 off John Fried Precision Foam, and $1 off any John Frieda product. These coupons don't expire until 3/01/14. If you find the $2 coupon, it makes it a pretty good deal if you need it.

$10.39 John Frieda Foam (gold price)
$10.39 John Frieda Foam (gold price)

Eclos IP coupon

I haven't tried this scenario but if you could find 2 of the Eclos mask at $12.99 each, buy one per transaction and use this IP Save $5.00 on ECLOS [smartsource.com].

With Gold, you'll pay $10.78 (after the coupons) plus tax and receive $10 UPs back.

Saw some moneymaker January monthly +Up rewards!! They are doing the pencils and pens again from last month, no limits on the tags, I think they are clearing them out. Some slimming tea that I only found at the GNC Rite Aid, they had 6 different flavors and about 4 of each, $2.99 reg retail ($2.39 gold) and I got a $5 up reward for each, limit 3. The link at the bottom shows a picture of the herbal slimming tea. Some kind of drink flavoring with the weight loss stuff looked like a strawberry flavor and lemonade flavor, when you buy 3 you get $10 and they were $3.99 reg retail ($3.19 gold) so moneymaker for gold, didn't check limit. They had Sure deodorant for $3.29 reg retail with a $2 up, hopefully there is a coupon somewhere. Brut was also giving a $2 up and it was $3.69 reg retail. I saw a couple other things but nothing too great.

Also, I bought the Eclos and it rang up half off instead of b1g1 50% off. If you can find 3 of the $12.99 items and you have the $5 coupons, you would make $.53. My store only had 2 so it screwed up my transaction. I'm not sure if the other Eclos items are ringing up half off or if it was just the $12.99 one.

http://health-products.womendiary.net/wp-content/uploads/Herbal-Slimming-Honey.jpg

I found Pentel mechanical pencils today for $4.99 - 20% (Gold) with a $4 +Up reward (no limit mentioned on the tag) which equals free. I bought three and did not receive a "limit reached" message. The UPC's I got were:
072512234112
072512234273
072512234266

Apparently this is a December monthly deal, so it ends tomorrow (Jan 1st).

Evidently January 2013 monthly deals have started already yesterday. So this must be a January monthly deal also.

They go from 12/30-1/26.

Not sure why Rite Aid decided to change the start dates....

(There are also some other good January monthly deals that I posted a few posts earlier.)

Not sure yet, MC, but when I know I will post it. Evidently it is a new January monthly +UP.

might have to do with the resetting of up points. Probably had to wipe out all December info from the system, including up offers.

ArtSkills Permanent Marker (UPC 672125012154) $1.79 ($1.43 Gold) is generating the $2 UP for ArtSkills products.

Thanks Mr.V. bought some slimming tea. Thanks for the image link too. I couldn't find and showed the picture to CS and she pointed out exactly where they have them. do you know this is weekly or January monthly deal.

HEADS UP!!! This offer is A NICE MM and even better than MR V posted about!! VALID ONLY TODAY 12/31 since the IP's expire today:

Print 4 q's from 2 computers.

Go to RA, find any varieties of the ECLOS (on Skin Care Asile near Olay type stuff) that are shelf tagged $12.99.

They are indeed ringing up $6.49ea (not bogo 50%). Buy 4, pay $26 b4 coupons, total ac's $6, get back two $5 ups.

Deal is $5 up wyb 10 and the limit is def more than 1 and more than 2. not sure max out yet.

ALSO!!! The DAWN OLAY variety is tracking towards the $3up wyb $15 select cleaning products (mostly in the Finish line, but these count as well, assume all Dawn types do)

Slimming Tea MM is dead. Bought 3 and only received one $5 +Up.
Same thing reported by others.

my4mainecoons said:   Slimming Tea MM is dead. Bought 3 and only received one $5 +Up.

Ah darn it, I was just going to go look for some. Can cross it off my list now.

my4mainecoons said:   Slimming Tea MM is dead. Bought 3 and only received one $5 +Up.

so the deal is buy 3 get $5 up?
This morning I was lucky, I didn't have enough UP, so initially thought of buying 2 and buy 3 more tomorrow so I can roll the $5 UP for next purchase, but due to bad experience recently with RA, I went ahead and bought 2 more and paid cash. I think I did a good decision.

The Slimming tea deal is buy ONE get a $5 +UP (so it is a decent MM -- $2.99 regular price and $2.19 Gold). It was tagged at my store as being limit 3, so I showed it to the manager and he gave me a Rite Aid return card for $10 to make up for it,

If you are using a registered card, you could go ahead and buy 3 like the tag says and when you only get one $5 +UP bring it to the attention to the manager and if he doesn't give you the missing +UP money you could always call customer service and they should send you out the missing +UPs as it is clearly tagged on the shelf as being limit 4.

MISTERCHEAP said:    ALSO!!! The DAWN OLAY variety] is tracking towards the $3up wyb $15 select cleaning products (mostly in the Finish line, but these count as well, assume all Dawn types do)

I just got back from Rite Aid and MisterCheap is right Dawn Olay is tracking for $3 +UP wyb $15 so if you have a lot of the 50 cents off coupons you can get a really good price on Dawn dishwashing liquid. If you did the battery deal from Staples the past several weeks some of those packages had coupons in them and one is 50 cents off Dawn dishwashing liquid (plus a 50 cent coupon came out in yesterday's P&G).

Also, Bounty Basic paper towels are on sale this week for 99 cents and they are also tracking for $3 +UP wyb $10, so if you have Bounty paper towel coupons you can get a really good deal. In the Duracell battery coupon supplement I referred to above, there is also a $1 off Bounty paper towel coupon wyb 2. It excludes trial/travel sizes though. Are the single rolls considered to be trial/travel sizes? There is also a 0.25/1 any Bounty Basic paper towels in the 11/25 P&G (which expires today).

Another thing I noticed is that the Pentel deal is not tracking, so you may be able to buy as many as you want. I bought 4 ($4.99 regular price and $3.99 Gold) and got back all my $4 +UPs. I looked carefully at the monthly +UP tag with the Pentel pencils and no limit is listed. Also I noticed other things that should be tracking were not tracking. For example, the Slimming Tea and the Super C drink mix.

How things change. At first I thought this would be a slow week, but it is actually a pretty good week. I was able to roll ALL of my +UPs and now they all expire on 1/14/13.

MrVietnam said:   The Slimming tea deal is buy ONE get a $5 +UP (so it is a decent MM -- $2.99 regular price and $2.19 Gold). The first one did not have the $5 +Up tag and I bought one box and did not get it but I figured I could not complain since there was no shelf tag. The other 2 *did* have the tag but I didn't bother taking another chance (plus they were $3.29, not $2.99). Will customer service give me the $5 +Up if I contact them via chat?

I did manage to find 3 of the clearanced Pretty Woman names at one store and used the $3 L2C to pay for most of them!

billrubin said:    Will customer service give me the $5 +Up if I contact them via chat?

They should as it is their error. The tea was tagged at my local Rite Aid (all three flavors) and the tag clearly states limit 3...but Rite Aid is really good at having strategic "misprints" so YMMV.

EDIT: Don't bother calling customer service and try to return it. Here is the results of someone calling (yes, it is another of Rite Aid's "misprints" or bait-and-switch tactics depending on your point of view):

I bought 1 green tea and nothing printed. I asked the manager about it and she told me she couldn’t do anything at the store level, I would have to call 1-800-riteaid.
After a 37 minute phone call and several transfers, I finally got to someone who told me you have to buy 3 boxes to get the $5 reward. She said they are aware of the misprint on the sign and they are working on fixing it and notifying the stores. I asked her if she would honor it for me since the sign didn’t say I had to buy 3, and she said “No. All I can tell you is that we are aware of the issue and we’re fixing it. If you’d like to file a complaint, I can transfer you to the complaint department.”
I declined filing a complaint over $5 since I was already sick of being of being on the phone with them for more than a half hour.

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you.

Did not work for me. I had to go to 3 stores, first only had the $24.99 item. Second had one of the masks and it was $13.29 (high priced store). Bought it without card and then went to another where they had 3, so I returned and rebought the first one. They rang up at B1G1 50% off and the supervisor wasn't willing to reduce it to 50% off (can't blame her). So I just left them there. So either it's because the $13.29 price isn't broken, or they fixed it.

I'm still waiting on $2 Almay to clear which I bought on 1/1 and then I will cash out my $36 check. I didn't max out all the MM deals. I couldn't find any clearance Almay all month and then a single piece on the last day. I did find some of the Magnetix clearanced nail polish but it rang up full price at some stores, so had to keep trying the same UPC's at other stores.
