There is a $5.00/1 Insta Nails Kit Coupon Here [coupons.com]
Combined with the $5.00/1 in Ad coupon and the $4 UPs (if the kit counts), it could be a good deal.
I think the price is about $24 - $5 MQ and $5 RAQ and (2) $4 UPS takes off $18 so about $6 for the kit. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not, being a guy I don't use a lot of nail products..

What I mean is I made a mistake. Thanks for catching it. I was looking at the day the coupon comes out (tomorrow) and thinking mistakingly it was the expiration date.

Off topic, but just want to bring it here as this will be an active thread. I recently having too much trouble with my RA store , there are couple of store shift managers giving me hard time regarding coupons, rain check etc. When I say something they tell back they know what they are doing and very rude, very embarrassing at times. I miss those old staffs. I did the RA survey and mentioned that I'm not satisfied. Thinking of any other way I can escalate this. All the hatred are coming because of coupon usage. They think I'm getting things for free. Did any one of you have this experience and how did you handle this?

Is the problem w/ shift supervisors, asst mgr or store manager? I had problems w/ an assistant manager and spoke to the store manager about it. Problem went away. If they're treating you like you're stealing then they don't understand that the store gets paid coupon value + $0.07 per coupon so you are making the store money.

The easiest way to escalate a store level issue is to call 1-800-RITE AID and share with them your problem and then they will take down your information and a day or two letter the district office will call you and you can further talk it over with them.
One time I had a problem at a store with a cashier and a certain transaction. The manager came over and got involved and I mentioned to the store manager that I was planning to call Corporate customer service and she told me not to as complaints are counted against their store and she did all she could to make it right for me at the store level. Evidently complaints made to corporate about a store or employee are treated very seriously, so that may be the best route for you to take.

Thanks Maine & Mr.V for your input. I'm not sure how to differentiate between the AM and the Shift supervisor. But this person is mostly in the evening and called any time when I have problem with coupons or rain check.

Ask a friendly cashier who the AM's are if you can't tell. Shift supervisors often act as 'store manager' in evenings. Regardless, I've found store managers to be very reasonable especially when you mention you completed a survey and wanted him/her to know why they got the low numbers they got. My SM's are always asking folks to complete surveys and they want 5's.

LOL Maine,
yeah, I have seen some of those IP's run out in hours. the DiGiorno one is an interesting one, guess they are trying to really boost sales for Football/Super Bowl season.
But since I can only stomach a frozen pizza on rare occassion (vs the real deal from a good Pizzeria), I haven't done any of these DiG deals.

Regarding coupon usage, I had an assistant manager tell me once that the store and it's employees use coupon use as one of it's ratings areas for bonuses etc. The more coupon use the better. I can't see why employees would act like coupons are a problem.
The problem I am facing is the silver/gold level I have to deal with all year (for the first time). For instance, I want to buy 3 (and only 3) DiGeorno Pizza's today but because I get a 5% discount, I can't reach the $15 spending level for the $5 +Up by buying only 3 @ $5 each because mine will ring up 3 @ $4.75 each.

How do you get a 5% discount? The Wellness levels only have a 10% and a 20% discount.
That is why I have a Wellness card with NO discount, one at 10%, and one at 20%...for times like you are describing where a discount will actually kill the deal.

This is another good deal to do on a card w/o a discount that one wants to get to gold. So far this year there have been so many deals where sale price is better than gold that my no-discount card has more points on it than my gold cards.
Regarding Glade. Not sure but I think the oil diffusers are more expensive and are not part of the sale.

No one is paying less than $5 before coupons. For comparison, local supermarket has them on sale 3/$12 so $4 ea. Use the coupon and pay 3/$8 or $2.67 ea, $1 more than at RA but no +Up involved.

So you are saying my pizza will ring up $5 instead of $4.75? yes. If regular price is $7.29, 5% off of that would be $6.93. Sale price of $5 is cheaper. You'll pay $5. No one is paying less than $5 before coupons. For comparison, local supermarket has them on sale 3/$12 so $4 ea. Use the coupon and pay 3/$8 or $2.67 ea, $1 more than at RA but no +Up involved.
Good to know. I'm new to the silver/gold program.

Bought 6 pizzas using the B2G1F and got the 2 $5 +Up.
Bought 2 Glade Expressions spray starter kits, used 2 $2/1 from coupons dot com and got the $3 +Up and the $1 OYNO catalina. Limit of 2 +Up's but you only get one Catalina per purchase so I bought additional pair in separate transaction to get the Catalina.
Bought 4 Aveeno hand cream reg price $8.29/$6.63g, used 2 $3/2 (SS 1-6-13) and got back $10 & $8. $0.63 ea for really good hand cream.
Bought 3 gold sizzle eye shadow @ $0.84 and one clearance mascara $2.49, used 2 $3/2 CG coupons (P&G 12-30-12). Have $5 tracking towards P&G for oop -$1. Too bad I bought most of the clearance shadow 2 wks ago.

I tried to do the DiGiorno pizza deal, but as expected, RA only carries two varieties, both of them meat (this is the same that I found when I tried to buy at CVS a while back). Since we do not eat meat, I couldn't buy them. Too bad, since it's a great way to get rid of the $20 +Up. Ended up getting them at Stop & Shop. I could have tried another RA later in the week, but I figured the odds of finding the all cheese variety there were slim. The first RA I went to didn't have a freezer case at all.

what is the $10 UP? I see only $8 WYB $20. There's also a $10 wyb $25 and some items are double dipping. Check the shelf tags.

It's a RC48 which means it will deduct the sales tax on all other +Up you use in the transaction. Of course if you don't have other +Up to use then its a moot point.

Just clarifying that these prices shown are non-wellness silver/gold discount?
So if you have gold, these would be about $8.20 ea, so you'd have to look for a Natrol that was priced $12.50+ to be at $10 per bottle after Gold to get the $20 up on a 2 bottle purchase. (correct me if I'm wrong on this Mr. V)

Some other points I want to add. My store has 3 different types of Laci tea that are reg price $5.29. Bought all 3 types and they all counted towards the Natrol/Laci UP deal. No problems using the $1/1 IP. Went through without any beeps. These arent located in the tea section of your food aisle. Found these in the same aisle next to the Lichi.
Laci Le Beau Super Dieter's Tea 15ct UPC 080987010117 Laci Le Beau Cinnamon Spice Super Dieter's Tea Cleanse 15ct UPC 080987010285 Laci Le Beau Maximum Strength Super Dieter' Tea 12ct UPC 080987010223
I should also mention that Rite Aid online pricing has some of the Natrol/Laci products 25% off. Don't know if your store will price match the online price but my store will

I love the jerky and thought $3 was a good deal and the $5+UP made it even better. I was not able to find any coupons. Again I am such an amateur.
I ended up screwing up more on the Aveeno DD deal. I went to my favorite Rite Aid wanting to buy 2 more Daily Scrubs that would give me another $8+UP and the $10+UP. They were out of the daily scrub, so I grabbed other types that were at the same price. I only got $8+UP again. The cashier had no problem of me returning them right away, however, I had to give back the +UP, since they had to send it back. She was nice enough to refund $8+UP I used to pay to my credit card. Then the limit for $8+UP on $20 purchase was reached, so no more DD for me!
The moral of the story is, if you are an amateur, follow the instructions of the professionals! Jacks Links will be BOGO in a few weeks. Reg. price $7.49. So 2 for $7.49. Get flu books. The coupon for $3/2 is ~ pg. 40. Would make it 2 for $4.49 and you'll have $7.49 towards RA50. If you don't have flu book and pharmacy won't give one to you w/o getting a flu shot then come back here for instructions as to how to get flu books. Each time you're in a grocery store or convenience store check the Jacks Links area and look for the blue $1 peelies on the packages. Harvest a few.
