I was looking at this deal. I don't have the numbers worked out yet, but here are some observations.

- Don't forget the wellness plus discounts. That means you must buy more stuff, but you can apply more coupons against it, and less cash out-of-pocket.
- I also assume this deal is tracking visit-by-visit, since it doesn't have the "must buy in one transaction" disclaimer. That means you can use more of the in-ad coupons by making multiple shopping trips.

I think this has the potential to be a much larger MM.

There are mentions of finding coupons for the spin brush and orajel offer but no links. Please post links for those coupons.

A) MrC copied that from another source (credited at the top) and probably didn't catch that there were links.

B) Google is your friend. A quick search yielded this and this.. They were both right at the top on the Google search page. HTH!

thx clover, sometimes it's just not possible to include all the links in the interest of time.

Here's one scenario (assuming 20% Wellness Plus level):

Purchase 1:
One Silk Hydro razor, reg 12.49, net 9.99 after 20% W+ discount
One Edge gel, reg 3.49, net 2.79 after 20% W+
Use the two in-ad coupons ($4 and $2 respectively), one $4/1 Hydro (3/24 SS) and one $1/1 Edge (2/10 SS)
Subtotal OOP: $1.78 plus tax

Purchase 2:
One Silk Hydro 4-pk disposable, reg 11.99, net 9.59 after 20% W+
One Edge gel, reg 3.49, net 2.79 after 20% W+
Use the two in-ad coupons ($4 and $2), one $4/1 Hydro Disposable (3/24 SS), the $3/1 Hydro from March VV, and the $1/1 Edge (2/10 SS)
Subtotal OOP: -$1.62 (Need to find some filler; maybe a Scunci)

Total OOP: $0.16
Credit towards +Up deal 9.99+9.59+2*2.79 = $25.16 => $10 +Up for a net $9.84 MM!

The system might beep as in-ad and VV coupon both starts with RC49.
Depend on which one you use first the second one might beep.

Look for BONUS packs on:

Edge Shave Gel 20% more free

Hydro Disposable Razors extra razor (4) vs normal 3 pack no extra cost.

edit to add: confirmed this deal tracks! so you can buy at multiple stores if one store is out of product A but not B.

reminder that the Playtex wipes are a monthly deal so can still do it this week.
Just had to share the Playtex wipes ad campaign.

where's Mr. V???

Just a heads up.. I received a free 24 count ES Excedrin today from Rite Aid. Keep your eyes peeled for a box from USPS. I imagine it was sent to RA card holders.

I got one last Saturday.

heads up!

if you are doing the Scunci hair deal, look for the bonus packs w/free bobby pins attached to them. great deal for $1.99 and free a/up.

Yes, it beeped, and my favorite cashier pushed it through anyway.

As others have pointed out, yes this deal is tracking.

And the Utz chips are eligible for the 20% Wellness+ discount (if you qualify), making them a 21-cent MM.

But question for everyone: Did anyone else notice that MQs are not being printed on receipts this week? I've had five transactions in the past two days at two different stores, and none of the regular MQs show up. The in-ad coupons and +Up redemptions are specifically listed. And the "total number of items" at the bottom counts the MQs even though they are not listed. I don't remember this from last week.

Your store has had the dreaded register update. It started a few weeks ago and is spreading like the plague. Coupons aren't on there and you have to check to make sure they came off. They're aware of the problem and sent out a 21 page memo telling managers how to print a receipt in their office that shows the coupons-- if a customer questions it. Yet more RA IT brilliance. Put out an update that's so faulty that you have to help the stores do a work around. Folks are complaining on other boards. Hasn't hit me yet so I have nothing to complain about but after you check to make sure coupons came off correctly I suggested posting on their FB page.

my4mainecoons said:   Your store has had the dreaded register update...
Thanks for the explanation.

after you check to make sure coupons came off correctly I suggested posting on their FB page.

Since I usually know what to expect (in terms of net cost), it doesn't bother me too much. And since the item count DOES include the coupons, i can see it there. But posting on their FB page would require me to have a FB account--no thanks.

But one interesting note. Since there are some rebates that count the after-coupon price (I think I saw a L'Oreal one this weekend), here's an opportunity to get a receipt that doesn't show the MQs. Might be of use to someone...

wow thanks for this transaction detail on the Schick deal! What fun!

Finally found the plain Utz at my local RA so I got two of them (they even had some dated May). Also got 2 Scunci.

The Silk refills are an excellent deal. $16.99 each, $13.59 gold x2 = $27.18 less $16 in coupons = $11.18, get $10 back. I'll do it Saturday since I will be in CT where coupons are not taxed.

Bill,

since this deal is limit 4 offers per card....

also look for the SILK DISPOSABLES with the same type of blades which are about $9.50 with gold (less $8 in coupons $4/ra 4/schick on each)

if you buy 4 regular silk blades as you mention and 5 of the disposables, it will turn into a mm for you.

and you'll get back 4 x $10 in ups on one card. (or make whatever adjustments you need if you've already done $27 worth)

I agree with you on the refills. I've been buying the Hydro Silk Refills. I didn't have to buy coupons either since there are 2 coupons per insert in the 2/24 SS (one is for refills, the other is for razors or refills). Stock isn't too much of an issue either.

@$13.59
Buy 7 Hydro Silk Refills - $95.13 (seperate transactions, seperate days if necessary)
Buy 2 Edge shaving cream - $5.58
-$28 in-ad coupons Hydro Silk
-$28 Hydro Silk MFQ
-$4 edge in-ad
-$2 edge MFQ
-$40 +UPs
=$1.29 MM

The Hydro Silk were $17.49 ($13.99 gold) in my stores, so I would buy 1 less edge and pay $1.72 OOP for everything.. Not including about $8.50 in tax.

I also have a try-me-free Hydro 5 Razor. I havne't decided if I want to use this week at RA or somewhere else. I guess if I can get it for free and stack the $4 in-ad coupon, then it would be a good deal..

One of my cats has a FB acct so she can print coupons. She's read but she's never posted on a wall or whatever you call it.
I haven't seen a new L'oreal rebate-- details please? I did the one where you got $10 wyb $30 (or something like that) and there's a new Pantene rebate out that specifically calls for purchase price after coupons. Maybe that's the one you saw?

I think I saw it while cutting SS coupons last night. I will find it and post when I get a chance.

I know that I ignored it because of the after-coupon clause. We're so stocked-up that my wife isn't even interested if it's "only" free, and I have to talk her into a MM deal.

What I saw was Pantene also.

The problem w/ that Pantene rebate (besides the fact that its after coupons) is that Pantene is price-y. $9-ish/bottle. Unlikely it will be included in any of the P&G +up where the high cost could be offset by eg CoverGirl eye shadow.
If P&G wants to put that clause on its rebate forms I see a lot of folks doing return/rebuy for clean receipts.
I wonder if they'll count ECB, RR, +Up, etc as coupons.
