Some of the Viactiv Calcium Glides are on clearance in my area for $3.49. The ones on clearance are the 50 count berry Glides and the 60 count vanilla Glides. Some of the stores had the clearance signs up, and some were still marked at $8.49, but they all ring up at $3.49.

Use the $3.00 off coupon in the 7 day ad and the $2.00 off coupon in the EasySaver booklet. Both should be on display when you walk in the store. You only need one of each coupon. The register will deduct the amount for each bottle you buy. Note: The 7 Day coupon says Limit 4. The register will let it go through for more than 4 at a time, but if you get a bad cashier they may not let you.

So the deal works like this.... $3.49 Clearance price - $3.00 coupon - $2.00 coupon = -$1.51 per bottle. Now, they're not gonna let you get the overage back in cash, so buy some other stuff to bring your total back above zero. You can even throw in a gift card if you want to, but this is very YMMV. Some cashiers will freak out when you're buying a gift card as well and the total comes out to a dollar =) It's easier to get this to work if you're buying a bunch of merchandise, especially if you have coupons to make it all believable.

Some possible deals to roll this with current Register Rewards offers:

Buy 6 Herbal Essence Trial Size Shampoo/Conditioner: $.99 * 6 = $5.96 (This is YMMV. It's not in the ad, but it generates $12 in Register Rewards for me)
Buy 4 Calcium Glides: -$1.51 * 4 = -$6.04
Total: -$.08 You'll need some filler to get above 0. This should generate $12 in Register Rewards

Buy 6 Pantene Trial Size Shampoo/Conditioner: $1.29 * 6 = $7.74 (This is completely legit. It's in the ad, so should generate $12 in Register Rewards)
Buy 5 Calcium Glides: -$1.51 * 5 = -$7.55
Total: $.19 This should generate $12 in Register Rewards

Warning: Don't use the Register Rewards to pay for items for which the Register Rewards you're using were generated. New ones won't print.

Thanks to theCouponLady for the tip on this one

I thought there'd be a lot of other things you could sell and Make Money on from Walgreens... (shady alley not included)...

Could someone tell me what these glides are, are they calcium tablets. And on which page are they listed. I do not have my ESC. Need to check in store. Hope I will be able to locate them in the ad and ESC.

Also, can anyone tell me if taking these calcium glides along with prenatal tablets is advisable. I am planning for IVF within 6 months, hence I am on prenatal tablets. (Sorry for Off topic).
Thanks

They are calcium tablets. They are supposedly easier to swallow and have a flavored outside coating that makes them "glide" down when you swallow them. The coupon is on the the next to last page of the ad and on page 19 of the Easy Saver booklet. Can't tell you about taking them with prenatal tablets. I'm giving most of mine to a shelter/food bank.

I think it would be best for you to ask your doctor if you should be taking them, just to make sure.

Same here. Unfortunately my store is new so they don't seem to have much clearance stuff. But it's definitely worth a try.

Hi, I'm brand new, today is my first day and I would like to ask you what register rewards are and also what some of the abbreviations mean, such as: YMMV. Also, I could not find a $2 coupon for Viactiv in the March Easy Saver and if you can help me in any way. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You

Viactiv Coupons:

Page 19 of easy saver book ($2)

Front page of Circular ($3)

Manufacturer Coupon in 3/2 papers ($2)

If you know someone who takes these, even if there's no clearance stock, it's $1.99 per bottle with all coupons above applied which is a great deal.

Viactiv is not a P&G product, it is Johnson and Johnson/Mcneil

They were in either smart source or Red Plum.

Also there's a $1 printable manu coupon link added a few posts back if you can't fine the $2 one.

I've confirmed that there basically is no limit. The register will multiply the coupon by however many bottles you've bought. I've done it with 21 bottles at one store. I used the overage for a Shell gift card and some other junk. The only limit is one that the cashier might try to impose based upon the wording of the coupon. They also might figure out that the coupons generate overage and try to stop the deal because of that. Most cashiers probably won't care and will just scan the coupons and let you go on your way. This is why it's YMMV. Depends on the luck of the draw.

I just got 5 of the 60-ct vanilla glides and they rang up $3.69 each. Both coupons worked fine and took off the correct amount for all 5 ($15.00 and $10.00). Of course I bought some other stuff to compensate for the overage and to avoid getting a negative total.
