Not sure if this is a repost but I didn't see it anywhere. Not sure if it is nationwide.

Quiznos in Hawthorne is offering all regular subs except prime ribs for $5.00 plus tax. Below is the actual location I went that offer this deal. They are located on the corner of Hawthorne Blvd. and 120th Street.

12000 W. Hawthorne Blvd #B
Hawthorne, CA 90250

It's NOT all!!!

The $5 deal is on their website.

How can they deny the prime rib sub? That's a prime ghetto location!

Quizno's subs are about 30% wider than Subway and you never have to ask for double meat. Also keep in mind that Subway is for people that are trying to lose weight.

So Quizno's is to Gain Weight?

Subway is for people who NEED to and SHOULD lose weight. Quizno is for normal people (granted they are minority in this country).

I eat at both places, where does that put me?

Funny, I started eating lunch at Subway and I've lost 7 lbs. I didn't even need to loose weight and was kinda surprised I've lost so much.

I think people who NEED to lose weight wont be eating subway OR quiznos.

Lets be honest, neither is healthy.

Quiznos has 5, 8, and 11 inch subs, not 9". The 8" is $5.99 regularly. Stores in Mesa AZ area don't know anything about the special.

I can complain about Subway with the best of 'em, but let's be fair - Subway does offer several sandwiches which are fairly low in fat and calories, and reasonably good lunch choices for someone who might want to lose a little weight. Naturally, any sub can be made "unhealthy" by ordering it in the largest size, slathering it with mayo, and adding plenty of cheese, bacon strips, and whatnot to it.

Me? If I'm buying a sub, it'll probably be from Wegman's. But then, I have a Weg's just down the road from where I live. (There's also a Quiznos a few hundred feet from the Wegman's, and a Subway maybe 2 minutes further away, so if I really did prefer Quiznos or Subway, it's not like I couldn't buy sandwiches there, just as easily.)

I thought it's 4, 8, and 12 inch subs?

Post a restaurant deal, get a bunch of useless comments.

+1 on Wegmans. When I lived in PA I used to eat Wegmans subs all the time and they arguably better than Subway. If I'm eating Quiznos I'm eating the Black Angus steak or something else with heated meat and toasted, not a cold sub, so I don't believe they can really be compared to Subway. I regularly eat at both places because I work downtown and they're both in walking distance, it just depends on what taste I'm going for... eat at Jersey Mike's more often though but that's another different taste.

I ate an 8" at Quiznos on Thurs and there was no mention of this deal (Greenville SC).

P.S. if you haven't tried those mini Sammies from Quiznos, I strongly recommend you do so... lots of flavor in those little guys.

They shrunk the size on the big one more than a year ago to hold price.
