1. Coupon Misredemption (contentious topic). Coupon misredemption is redeeming a coupon for merchandise not stated on the coupon (or for no merchandise at all). Coupon de-coding can lead to this. • We tend to agree this is unethical and could lead to legal troubles for involved parties. • Currently, however, we do not disallow discussion based on ethics or law, unless at the advice of our legal team. Participants can choose to discuss coupon decoding, for example, sharing knowledge/experience and debating the merits, risks, and ethics involved. The discussion itself does little more than inform consumers, as we encourage all points of view be expressed. Further, when a member brings ethical/legal concerns to our attention, we note accordingly under the OP: “Members of our community have questioned the legal or ethical merits of this discussion. While we do not condone any unethical or illegal behavior, we believe discussion and debate helps our community make informed decisions. Please read, comment if you’d like, and proceed with caution.”
2. Buying/Selling/Trading of Coupons (desired by community). • While we don't allow the selling coupons, you can give the coupons away for free and sell the time it takes to clip them. • The coupons must be physically delivered (i.e. via mail). No scans sent by email. • No more than 100 total coupons per person at any given time. (curb store fronts activity)

Isn't there still stores that will accept expired coupons?
• The coupons must be physically delivered (i.e. via mail). No scans sent by email.
I thought folks in HD's post scans of coupons. What would be the difference of posting a scan, and emailing a scan? That could be a really dumb question

1)That is why i am asking... i don't know. I know a very popular auction site doesn't allow them for that reason.... which is why i am asking/
2)You are correct. I was thinking about the "cannot be copied, or replicated" printed on them. Thoughts on that?

Just because a lot of coupons do have fine print voiding them if sold, does not mean it is illegal (against the law) to sell them per se. Need to be careful of the language here.

Probably could use a sticky of common terms & abreviations for new couponers.
some to consider/include: q - coupon RR - Register Reward (Walgreens) WAG - Walgreens catalina - coupons/rewards that print from special machines at the registers (note: NONE of my sefl check out stations at ANY store have catalina printers; these are ONLY available using a real person cashier) ECB - CVS version of register rewards, generally good for a month after purchas, tied to theeir loyalty card, limited number of times you can do a particular ECB deal but limit is noted on EVERY receipt hang tag-usually found on wine/liquor bottles-good for $x off a particular purchase, often meat or poultry peelie- sticker on a product w/ money off that item or a related item
I am sure I/other FW members will think of more as the days go on

Not sure if I'm understanding this correctly, but I would think that you couldn't sell a scan, but share it with the community if you like....
Physical coupons are being sold only to pay for the time to collect them.
Some store do except expired coupons, but if you are selling them, then I would say to put the EXP. on it so those buying would know the date, and know if their store excepts expired coupons.
I am excited by this forum and know it is under construction. But I see too many offers flying and no organization. I would recommend sub catagories under this forum such as:
Grocery Stores
Drug Stores
Hardware Stores
coupons
That way if you are looking for a CVS deal, you don't have to sift through all of the information about grocery stores.
Only a thought, I will take the information anyway I can get it, though.
Any way to be able to upload attachments in the works? I have a ton of great coupons to share but they're mostly Adobe files. And just wanted to add that I can use expired coupons and actually prefer my procter and gambles with the old barcodes since the new barcodes don't work at my store.
