MrVietnam said:I printed out several Target 50-cent coupons from The Full Cup website and I noticed they printed out not as sharply and clearly as the ones that I printed out last Sunday, so it doesn't surprise me if maybe they didn't scan properly because the bar code might not be printed as crisply as before. I wonder what happened. Hoewever, I will be back to my local Target this morning trying to score another 12 boxes on this great deal.Same here, they had to punch in the codes with 4 printed to a sheet but took them all without a prob. Nice to get 4 boxes for $.50 each, thanks OP!

What kind of customers service is that? Target should fire her, why Target hire someone cannot do anything for their customers?

Why chastise her? It's obviously a management decision. Fraud is rampant, they are just trying to protect themselves.

I just got back from Target. I cleaned them out earlier in the week, but luckily they restocked their Pop Tarts. I picked up another 12 boxes for a total of $5 (actually $27 but I took off the $15 in gift cards and $7 in coupons). I used 12 50-cents off Target coupons along with a $1 manufacturer's coupon for $1 off 2 boxes. After I get my second $10 Kellogg's rebate, these 12 boxes of Pop Tarts will cost me nothing and Kellogg's will PAY ME $5 for taking them.

By the way, as I said in earlier posts, the current coupons that are printing off Full Cup are not super clear so the bar code on the coupons are not scanning. Luckily I had a few extra coupons from my earlier print session earlier this week and they do scan fine. So the cashier was nice enough just to keep on scanning the coupon that did scan instead of insisting of scanning the bar code on each individual coupon.

I guess it just depends on what Target you go to. Some seem to take Target coupons with no problem at all and others don't. I guess if one Target turns you down then just go to another. They seem to be all over so it shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience.

Has anyone been able to use the $5 giftcard in the same transaction as the Pop-tarts?

Customer service should at least try to explain the policy.

I've been given ridiculous lines from Target supervisors before. The last time I called CS from the store so they could correct him. I highly recommend others do the same when the employees are being ridiculous. Be polite, of course, but stand up for your rights. If a policy seems beyond belief take a few minutes to call corporate from the store and confirm. If the employee is wrong then they can be taught the correct policy (sometimes it is just a misunderstanding).
I actually had to pull out my mailed copy of the Target coupon policy at the same time I was using the $3 apology coupon I got with it.

As far as finding a good store goes, it's usually about the cashier. I've had good and terrible experiences at the same store. I don't think it's usually even about policies.
So far I'm 3 for 3 on using all the coupons I wanted on my 36 pop tarts/keebler/rice krispie treats haul. I think it's luck. One cashier was actually excited about it and I gave her some spare coupons.

I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to use the GC's in the same transaction but I think some cashiers will, it's probably worthwhile to ask. I've just been recycling them though. And I'll save a few for the next Target GC deal.

I think, by logic, before the transaction is finalised, the card has no value. I could be wrong.

I have tried to use GC from the same purchase. It does not work. The machine gives a error message.

I tried this this a.m., my Target poptart coupons wouldn't scan, and when the cashier entered them manually, the register said "only one coupon per guest." So that was a bummer, but since I hadn't done the Kellogg's rebate and did get the gcs, it didn't come out too badly other than it only stocked two flavors, strawberry and S'mores - neither of which are high on my list of favorites.

from vocalpoint. you need to be a member. occasionally they will mail out coupons for you to try different things, new products. typically comes with a free product coupon with multiple $x.xx off manufacturer coupons.

Management decision? She is completely wrong and impolite. She can said "We won't accept any computer printer coupons." instead of "I cannot do anything for you." The way she talked just like a waiter ask you "What do you want?" instead of "What can I do for you.". How can a floor manager can talk to their customers like that?

I called their customer service number and file a complaint, and she also talk to that manager at the store to make sure she understand Target will take any computer printer coupons except the $5 off $20 coupon.

If enough people file complaint on the same person at the same store, I hope Target will really do something on it.
