I had the same experience as parksh69. I went to look for the L'Oreal today, and the shelf was empty. I asked the employee and she went in the back and brought out a whole handful of them. I got a $10 off $50 coupon today from the price scanning machine so I used it to buy the L'Oreal ($15.99 - $15.99 ECB), Sambucol ($12.99 - $10.00 ECB), and other stuff that generated ECB's or which was free after coupons. I recently got the $2.00 CVS coupon for L'Oreal skin care at the price scanner, so I used that in addition to the $1.00 L'Oreal newspaper coupon. I ended up spending a total of $23.02 (and used $23.00 in previous ECB's to pay that) and then got $30.00 worth of new ECB's.

Oh man, your price scanner gives out good coupons, not mine.

I just got a raincheck for the loreal ECB item at 2 different CVS.
The trucks are suppose to restock on Thursdays.

Which are better.. I saw the pre-charged (stays charged longer)4 pack of 2000 mah and also saw the regular 4 pack of 2650 mah. Are the pre-charged slow draining better?

Don't know how or why this happened, but.. On 11/18 I purchased 2 x 4 pack of the precharged, $14.99@ less the $5 coupon, on the receipt was a $15 EB. The on 11/22 I purchased another two sets, used another $5 coupon, and on the receipt was a $30 EC! So my net cost for the 4 sets was only $5.

$29.98 - $19.98 required for each $15 ECB = $10 carryover toward next $15 ECB

$14.99 * 2 = $29.98 "ECB credit" + $10 carryover = $39.98 total "ECB credit"

$39.98 is enough to qualify for 2 $15 ECBs ($19.98 * 2 = $39.96 needed); therefore $30 ECB printed on your 2nd transaction.

Keep in mind that the "buy $, get $ ECB" offers accumulate in your account until you've reached the $ requirement for the ECB. Any excess is carried over toward the next ECB (if the ECB limit is not reached).

P.S. The $ required was initially $20 for the Duracell ECB, but it was later dropped to $19.98

Thanks for the explanation. Hate to come across as an imbecile, but I don't get it. But even though I don't understand it, I did push it.

So I took my $30 ECB, and another $5 coupon along with a different EC acct., and bought 2 more packs, and picked up yet another $15 ECB. Used that $15 ECB, plus another $5 coupon (plenty of them at my CVS) and bought yet another 2 packs - but unlike last round this one was only $15. Figured that 32 batteries was more than I can use, so returned 2 sets and got $30 cash card. I think I ended up getting the 24 pre-charged batts for free.

Actually, less than free since on 2 of my purchases I got a coupon that asked me to update my email contact info and they promised to email a $3 gift cert, so I got paid $6 for those batteries. I doubt that makes sense, since I'm confused by it all.
