Just went to Walgreen's and the manager stuck to the fine print on the coupon which states that the purchase amount of $25 or more must be before taxes and after all manufacturer and Walgreens coupons and discounts. Since I had over $10 in manufacturer coupons, I said no thanks. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
With any B&M, step one is identifying locations and cashiers who are coupon friendly.

I have 2 walgreens within 2 miles of each other, one is so strict and they sit and read the fine print on all my coupons-it takes forever to check out and the other Walgreens is awesome, as long as it scans they could careless-needless to say I go to the coupon friendly one all the time
