Printable coupon for a $3 off any CVS brand purchase expiring 1/17. No minimum purchase requirement listed.
Directions: Go the Beacon Newspaper here, select Balt. Edition (graphic at center of page), browse to page 14, click on the image to the left and a larger version of the coupon will appear to the right. It appears you may have to adjust the print size of the coupon before printing for it to scan at the register.
Can someone tell me how to print the coupon? When I right-click on the bigger CVS ad on the right. It gives me an option to print picture. When I chose that option I just get a blank page printed. I tried copying it and pasting it into WordPad but that doesn't work either.
EDIT: I think I finally figured it out. When I right-click on the CVS ad on the LEFT. In addition to print picture it gives me the option to print target. When I print target it prints out but the coupon is quite small and the small print writing on it is not very clear. Does anyone know how to make it bigger?

Did you try the Print or Graphic links at the top on the right? I think I used one of those to print it.

Yes, the wipes were $2.99. I bought some other things I needed. I would imagine the register would beep if you only bought the wipes.
As a side note, I used the B1G1 coupon for the throat cooler today. I bought 2 (they are free after ECB, limit 2) and figured I'd pay for one (which I'd get a $4.99 ecb) and get the other one free. But to my surprise, I paid for one, but got $9.88 ecb back! Don't know if that'll work for everyone, but it's a clear profit of $4.99.

Actually the limit is 5 on the throat coolers. Check the bottom of your receipt, you should see that the limit is not reached.

How do you print using the "text version?" I have tried everything and all I can get is a printed coupon that is too small.
By the way, CVS products are buy one, get one 50% off next week (1/4-1/10) as well. So, coupon will definitely come in handy. Unfortunately, I bought some on 12/31/08 before this coupon came out.
When page #14 loads there should be a link on top which toggles between text and graphic version. When you click on the text version a pop up window opens with the ad and automatically asks you if you want to print it. Also, gamblingal16 posted a direct link to the coupon. It's a post directly above mine. That is much easier to click on and print the coupon.
Are jpgs allowed? Reading the FAQs it says no altered coupons are allowed so as I didn't alter the coupons I am posting these. I'm sure you all will let me know if it is no good.

I haven't tried it yet, but other CVS coupons don't beep even if their value is higher than the value of the item. Only manufacturer coupons generally beep for a value adjustment.
Coupons, whether CVS or manufacturer, don't affect ECBs. and that limit is really 5 so you can keep on buying and using more coupons
many products are CVS brand but don't make it obvious: Essence of Beauty, Gold Emblem, RTH (Round the House), Nuprin, Blade, Skin Effects, Elin Lavar, PreVentin-AT, and Merry Brite (yay clearance). and Playskool baby care stuff and Christophe sold exclusively at CVS so they may or may not be considered. CVS brand coupons have always worked on them but employees often don't know just how many products qualify as CVS brand.

this worked great with the mix and match b1g1 50% off mix and match sale. I got a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and a large bag of cough drops for 3 cents
My CVS typically does not take these coupons in magazines online, but they did take this one. I live in the Baltimore Beacon's region, so that may have been why. I used it on my CVS brand purchases today, along with a $5 off $25 or more that I got in CVS email, My quarterly ECB's and ECB's from last month. Starting today, even though the CVS items are a carryover B1G1@50% off, the CVS vitamin's and supplements are BOGO Free.
uthorns1976 said: When printed, these coupons are kind of blurry. Has anyone tried to scan one of these at a CVS store? Does it scan??
If they don't scan, the cashier can manually enter them. The two coupons I received in email, from my CVS ECB account, never scan either. Cashier had to manually enter everything except the ECB's from my receipts.

OP--can you make these images larger so the coupons will scan at the store??
To those of you who have shopped with this coupon, how many transactions did the store let you do per trip?? The coupon is good thru 1/17/09. You could go crazy buying CVS products!!
I'm stocking up on the CVS brand toilet paper. $2.49 for 4 regular rolls and the 2nd is half off - $3 coupon = $.77 for 2 4-packs. What is everybody else getting ?
Just came back from CVS. Coupon would not scan. Lady cashier called manager over. At first, he said they would not take coupon at all because it was from internet. I had over $15 worth of mdse. I told him to just sell me the CVS brand item with the $3 coupon. After that, he pushed through the $3 Q for the CVS brand item and scanned the $3 off $15 coupon as well. Plus, I had the BOGO coupon for the Speed Stick and $5 extra bucks. Paid $1.79 OOP and left. So, it's definitely YMMV on the IP coupons.
BTW, a lot of the cheaper CVS brand stuff was all gone but they were restocking the shelves when I was there. I plan a run to the other CVS store this afternoon to see what I can get there.
Also, on my morning run, I got a register receipt Q for $2.00 off Cottonelle 12-pack or higher. That will go nicely this week with the sale Cottonelle 20 pack for $12.97 less $4.00 ECB less $2.00 CVS Q less $.50 mfg. Q.
gatorkate said: No questions asked when using it today in N. Florida. Thanks OP !
Q would not scan at my store this a.m. Manager pushed it through along with $3 off $15 Q. At first, he said they could not take IP Qs at all. After I told him to just sell me the CVS brand item, he did the entire deal. I paid $1.97 OOP and left with all mdse. and 3 more ECBs on the Speed Stick deal. So, these Qs are definitely YMMV. I'm going to the other CVS this afternoon to see what I can get. Shelves were pretty bare of CVS brand items at the store I went to this a.m. but they were restocking when I was there.
Also, got a $2 register Q for Cottonelle that I'll use with the 20-pack that's on sale for $12.97 with $4 ECBs back. Heck of a deal!!! Also, have $.50 mfg. Q for Cottonelle.
For those of you who have self-checkout at CVS, the coupon does not scan, but if you hit "Keypad" and type in 47390 (the first 5 digits of the coupon barcode number), it takes off the $3.00 without any problem.
This is really great news! Do the packages say CVS on them in case the cashiers don't know? Does it always automatically work?
Also, to clarify for my simple brain, if I have a $1.50 coupon from CVS for Johnson's Baby product, I can buy something for 1.19 or any other price below or equal to $1.50? This one came on a postcard. And the same goes for the ones printed out (CVS-specific) with my receipt? Thanks!

I think everything cvs brand should be buy one get one half off, except for the bonus packs and whatever is buy one get one free (like the vitamins). Sadly, everything doesn't say CVS brand on it. I have run into lots of cashiers who were not aware of which brands are cvs brands and cvs exclusives but they all either believed me or checked with a supervisor who did know.
CVS coupons will almost always let you get an overage but you will have to have other items to cover that. This coupon should work fine on whatever you buy. But some cashiers will refuse to let you use the coupon to get an overage - most will not even notice or care. YMMV
If your postcard coupon starts with a 4 then it's a store coupon will probably let you get an overage, if it starts with 5 (manufacturer coupon) then it may beep to have the value adjusted. Either way, it's acceptable to use. Sometimes the mailer coupons seem to mess up the register and not allow you to use ECBs of a higher value unless you scan your card again.
CRTs (cash register tape) coupons can be used with manufacturer coupons and usually give an overage.

HTH The stores I visited had B1G1 50% off signs that prohibited (CVS-brand) products with ECBs. For instance, there's an ECB deal with a 6-pack (flavored?) water that doesn't allow B1G1 50% off. Also, the ones that were B1G1 50% off showed as B1G1 50% off at the (red) price scanner.
