Kelloggs has a rebate offer of 10.00 off of 10 items on a single receipt. Look for the "save 80.00" box in the lower righthand side of the webpage.FuelForSchoolOffer. Saveway has corn flakes 1.00 each if you buy in sets of 5. You'll also need to cut the upcs off for the rebate.

You could still get other kelloggs cereals or cheezits crackers (1.49 coupon in flyer) cheap as there's a wide variety on sale. Also you can get the Kashi cereal for cheap if you use the 1.50 off 2 coupon from Valpak.

Great deal if these are 10 ounce boxes (rebate requires 10 ounce or larger boxes). PLUS, if you find boxes with the "Movie Lovers" promotions on them, the 10 boxes would get you 2 FREE DVD's.

Here's the rebate form. Expires 9/30/09

You apparently also get a Dell coupon code for $70 off select Inspiron Mini and Studio laptops.

And if you're not a fan of Corn Flakes -- or at least not 10 boxes worth, you can peel off the UPC codes with a knife and give the boxes to your local food bank, church or the like.

The boxes on sale at Vons/safeway this week are 12 oz.

Vons club price: Buy 5 boxes at $2 per, get an additional $5 off at the register.

I had a window open to post a similar deal so I'll just cut and paste rather than start a new topic:

safeway has various cereals (many brands, not just Kelloggs) on sale this week, plus $5 off 5 eligible cereals mix & match among brands. If you haven't yet done the Kellogg's rebate ($10 on 10 items) there is potential to get cereals close to free or even make a little money if you also use coupons. (Even if you've already done the rebate you wind up with a good price for cereal). Here's what I did yesterday--hope this makes sense:

4 Frosted Mini Wheats @ $2.50 = $10.00 (18 oz box)
2 Raisin Bran @ $3.00 = $6.00
4 Special K blueberry @ $3.00 = $12.00
Subtotal prior to coupons/discounts: $28.00
(I printed coupons at redplum.com and safeway.com)

Less 2 $5 off 5 = ($10.00)
Less 3 x $1.50 off 2 coupons = ($4.50) - miniwheats & raisin bran
Less 4 x $1.00 off special K blueberry coupons = ($4.00)
Out-the-door Net price for 10 boxes after discounts: $9.50

After the $10 off 10 Kellogg's rebate (and factoring in the cost of a stamp) I make about $.06 (woo hoo). Your results will vary of course depending upon your cereal choices. For example, if you buy 10 miniwheats with 5 $1.50 off two coupons, their net price before rebate would be $.75/box. You'd make about a quarter each after rebate.

That's what I plan on doing, got 5 $1.50 off 2s ready to go for tomorrow.

You can also get a similar deal on the Mini-Wheats at Jewel-Osco. They have Mini-Wheats 2/$5 this week, but they also fall under a buy $25, get $10 off your next purchase.

So buy 10 at $2.50 each = $25. Get $10 towards your next Jewel purchase, $10 rebate and take $7.50 off with the coupons = -$2.50 (or make 25 cents each)

Thanks OP - I did the basic deal and also was able to find boxes with the "movie token" on them so I can get two "free" (44 cent) DVD's as well.

The pdf says offer not good at rebate clubs. Would the Vons be considered as a rebate club ?

Too bad you can only redeem the Fuel for School once, I already did it. But I did hit safeway today and got 5 boxes, used 2 $1.00 off 2 coupons, and 1 $1 off 1, so walked with 5 boxes of cereal for $4.50.

Ironically, my son starts school again tomorrow and eats breakfast there, and we already had 3-4 boxes stockpiled, so he's good for a good long while on cereal.

Good deal, thanks for the post!

I saw a post in SD that there are actually four different Fuel for School rebate forms with different PO Boxes. So if you can find the other rebate forms, I believe you can submit more than one rebate.

wow great deal. i much prefer the mix of cereals than 10 boxes of corn flakes! redplum and safeway.com allow you to print as many coupons as youd like? and the cashiers dont mind or dull out when they see 8 printed coupons? im thinking with my laser it will trigger their mental 'fraudulent copies' alarm
