ShopRite has a sale on Birds Eye Steamfresh Vegetable for $0.99 (after $0.80 PricePlus discount, limit of 4) this week (10/04/09 - 10/10/09). Coupons.com has a $0.50 off (1) Steamfresh Lightly Sauced vegetable. Since ShopRite is always running their double coupon (up to $1) promotion, it should make the purchase free.

YMMV on your store accepting more than one coupon per purchase.

These are heavily salted. Doesn't anyone sell unadulterated frozen veggies anymore?

I've never purchased these BE Steamfresh Vegetable before, but decided to check them out today. Like ellory says, some of the special seasoned & lightly sauced packages are heavily salted (300mg +). There was a potatoes lightly sauced one that was a little over 1,000+ mg. However, some of the select mixtures were relatively low on the sodium (20 to 35 mg). I decided to pick up two Italian Blend to give it a try. Even though the coupon mentioned it is for lightly sauced or pasta packages, it apparently worked on the Select Mixture packages as well.

thx = would have missed this without your post!
