There was a large display right as I entered the store with various Dr Pepper products on sale for $0.89. Many of the original flavor Dr Pepper 2 Liters had a large green football coupon on them for an additional $0.55 off. $0.89-0.55= $0.34.

I purchased this at the Charlottesville, VA location.

I saw these same green football coupons on the Dr Pepper 2 Liters at my local Kroger when I was there later in the day, though Kroger was not selling Dr Pepper at nearly this base price

Whenever I see a peelie coupon on a product I always take it off, or, if it is a great coupon, take a few off. If the price isn't great at that store at that time I just save them for a great sale price at another store.

That isn't "stealing" is it?

No, stealing is this http://www.walletpop.com/blog/2009/10/08/five-extreme-savings-ho...
I really don't think that Cheerios meant for its product to be given away for free. I (personally) feel that the coupon wasn't meant to really be used that way, and I would feel a little guilty about just taking something from a store that I didn't pay for.

People now are so GREEDY, not only wanting everything for free, but feeling like they have done something to deserve everything for free.

So this bitch went to CVS and scammed eighty-five dollars worth of free stuff. GREAT JOB. She should be real proud of herself.

most of us use coupons on the items for witch they were intended. if you don't buy the product that the coupons says it is for that is fraud. most of us no better.
She basically scammed CVS and the companies for which she used the coupons and got everything free. I would feel guilty "STEALING" all that stuff. She is using these coupons in ways that the manufacturers never intended. And she is just so darn happy with herself. Pretty soon, they won't offer these good deals, in fear of people like her taking advantage of the system!
If I were a cashier at CVS, I would pretty angery at this girl for presenting umpteen coupons to me. A few coupons is fine, but to have so many combined with others for the same product where you end up only paying $15 for a potential $90 order shows no class. She only cares about if SHE saves money, but doesn't care about how much $ CVS is losing. That's pretty selfish if you ask me.

If I were in a checkout line and I saw a pretty woman do that, I would find that totally unnattractive and unfeminine.

I used to be a cashier, and I bet if CVS told her they couldn't use some of the coupons, she probably would have thrown a fit and argued.

That's called smart shopping. Obviously people around here just aren't savvy enough to pull that off. That's why this forum is nearly non-existent. Most posts are people selling rebate forms.
