Thanks OP, to bad it won't work with normal cereal boxes (without the promo on the front). I just got back from the store with 4 boxes of general mills.
This is a pretty nice deal. Many theatres participating in my area. See http://emoviecash.com/dis_locator/ to see if there are any near you! [added to QS]

Does anyone happen to know which types of General Mills cereal might be included in this promotion?
Edit: Never mind; I used the link to check for participating theaters and saw them....they're Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, and Reeses Puffs.
Guess I'll skip this one. Those are all too sugary for us, and I'd buy them to take advantage of the offer then donate the cereal to the food pantry but since you have to open the box to get the code, that won't work. Good deal for anyone who eats these cereals, though.

the promo just started, so it does take a few weeks for stores to work down their inventories to get the latest boxes in. WalMart may do such a large volume that they have them sooner than most supermarkets.
I stopped at Kroger on the way home and bought 4 marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios. (Priced 2 for 5.00) total cost 10.60 for 4 boxes of cereal and 2 movie tix worth up to 12.00 each. Not bad.
In my area, evening movie tix for adults are about $8... I've found that to get the best bang for your buck, try to use these for 3D movies, which cost more.

Not sure about other areas, but here in Athens, GA I bought 2 boxes of Lucky Charms yesterday at Publix and they were BOGO free plus I had 2 coupons. This sale is good through next Tuesday 10/27. Well worth the purchase for the free movie ticket especially since I was purchasing the cereal anyways. These were the larger boxes so they ended up being $2.50 each after sale + I had $1 coupons.
