This is a pretty nice deal. Many theatres participating in my area. See http://emoviecash.com/dis_locator/ to see if there are any near you! [added to QS]
Does anyone happen to know which types of General Mills cereal might be included in this promotion?
Edit: Never mind; I used the link to check for participating theaters and saw them....they're Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, and Reeses Puffs.
Guess I'll skip this one. Those are all too sugary for us, and I'd buy them to take advantage of the offer then donate the cereal to the food pantry but since you have to open the box to get the code, that won't work. Good deal for anyone who eats these cereals, though.
TheGMan said: Has anyone found the specialty boxes anywhere other than WalMart? Publix has GM cereal B1G1 this coming week, but I didn't see any marked boxes.
the promo just started, so it does take a few weeks for stores to work down their inventories to get the latest boxes in. WalMart may do such a large volume that they have them sooner than most supermarkets.
I stopped at Kroger on the way home and bought 4 marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios. (Priced 2 for 5.00) total cost 10.60 for 4 boxes of cereal and 2 movie tix worth up to 12.00 each. Not bad.
In my area, evening movie tix for adults are about $8... I've found that to get the best bang for your buck, try to use these for 3D movies, which cost more.

Not sure about other areas, but here in Athens, GA I bought 2 boxes of Lucky Charms yesterday at Publix and they were BOGO free plus I had 2 coupons. This sale is good through next Tuesday 10/27. Well worth the purchase for the free movie ticket especially since I was purchasing the cereal anyways. These were the larger boxes so they ended up being $2.50 each after sale + I had $1 coupons.

Great, now donate the cereal you don't need.
Think it was mentioned code is on inside of box which may make these boxes not welcomed by food banks if torn open/front flap cut out.

One thing is for sure--- been to 4 stores/different chains, they either don't have any with the promo, or have only Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I hate cinnamon, going to a food bank

Yeah, that's right. If you know where the coupon code is at without opening the top flaps, go for it. After the first couple boxes, you should be good.
The cereal is in sealed bag so hungry people shouldn't mind. If they do, then your dealing with the wrong people. My son said the other night, this pizza (left over)doesn't look good. I said I dont care how it looks so long as it taste good.
hi cheapy! doing good, thank you! uber busy. kid tally is now up to FIVE. O_o lol finally finding some time to get back to FW- need to finish up the holiday shopping so i'm trolling for deals. hope you are happy, healthy & safe! ^_^ and oh, since this IS fatwallet- add 'and your wallet is so fat that it hurts to sit down!' aloha~!

KELSTER said: Does anyone know which size boxes these are on? Im seeing them on just the 4.xx boxes, not the smaller ones that go on sale for 2-2.50 a box?
Publix is going to have a good GM cereal sale this week 4/$10. Think they will have a $4 in ad publix coupon, which you know can be combined w/ mf q's. Hope they have the marked boxes.
i just went to the movies last night and tried to use 2 of the movie passes we printed up ... one worked and the other one didn't. which was lame since we had to pay $10 for a ticket. be wary of them working properly. this is the 1st time i've had an issue like this and i plan on calling the company to get another ticket.
