Halls Refresh are on sale for 1.00 per bag. Went to Walgreens and bought 2 bags of halls refresh and had a bogo coupon so paid 1.00. The machine printed a register reward for 1.00. Decided to just go ahead and spend the coupon on another bag and guess what, another 1.00 coupon printed out. Decided to try another Walreens and it worked there as well, so basically rinse and repeat until they get tired of seeing you. That happens pretty quickly with the grumpy cashiers at my local Walgreens. We ended up getting 6 bags, I really hope we don't need anywhere near that many over the cold winter.
This sale price and RR ends 10/31. This has been an ongoing deal for October, as well as the Trident Layers Gum $2/2 - $1 RR (on 2) deal.
These will both print the $1 RR even if you buy them in the same transaction, and they'll both be the same coded $1 RR from the same company (Cadbury Adams USA LLc). To avoid a possible conflict when people try to roll one into the other (not knowing they are the same RR), they have made the exception to allow this one to roll into itself (for either item(s)). This is very rare.
There are $.50 off/1 coupons for these at RA, and $1 coupons in the 9/27 SS (making them -.50 or -$1 MM)
Also, B1G1 coupons for the gum are in the latest (10/18) SS. The gums are currently ringing up as $1.29 and the second comes up at $.71...so the cashier might put the coupon in as $1 or $1.29. Since the RR will roll into itself (from either item) and the B1G1's only count as 1 Coupon at WG, you can roll the $1 RR into itself to pay for the other $1, and rinse and repeat.
