For anyone comparing this price to the price of whole lobsters, keep in mind that typically less than 1/4 of the weight of a lobster is eatable meat. If you buy just the tails, then a significantly higher ratio is eatable.

Lobster tails in the midwest are normally about $20- $22/pound. so $14/pound at Sam's is a great deal.
