I searched the forums and couldn't find anything previously reporting this, if so sorry!! Thought it might be good info for some.

WalMart Announces New Savings on Thanksgiving Meal Favorites $20
Thanksgiving feast includes:

One 12-pound Grade A turkey*
Three 11 to 15.5-ounce cans Green Giant vegetables
Two 14-ounce cans Ocean Spray cranberry sauce
Three 6-ounce boxes of Stove Top stuffing
One 5-pound bag of red potatoes
One 12-count package of Sara Lee dinner rolls
One 22-ounce pumpkin roll cake

I saw this last night in a sign my WalMart had at the entrance. Definitely interested.

Not bad, but as a native Idahoan, I would be disappointed if someone served me 'reds' at Thanksgiving dinner. Yukon Golds or Russets are the only acceptable mashed potato choices on turkey day.

Never mashed a russet - I thought they were better for baking and homemade fries (being drier and mealier than white potatoes or Yukon golds, for instance). I do know that red potatoes make great mashed, fried and "smashed." Sadly, my immediate family prefers BOXED potatoes to my homemade mashed (fear of lumps). I still make the homemade ones on T-day, though. Lumps be damned!

Boxed potatoes are sinful!
