Used the 2 Dole coupons today at local Farm Fresh (mid-Atlantic region). Pineapple was on sale for $1/can and double coupons. Two cans OTD for the 2.5% Virginia grocery tax.

really, a 2.5% grocery tax? that stinks. remind me never to move to VA!
For possible clarification, the 2.5% is the TOTAL sales tax on groceries (actual food -- not things such as soap, beer/wine, etc. that are commonly sold in supermarkets.
The 'regular' sales tax in VA is 5% but a couple of years ago the tax on food items (NOT prepared foods such as that from a deli) was reduced to 2.5%. When you make a purchase in a grocery, your receipt will have 2 separate tax entries on it, one for food and one for non-food. Adds up over a year or so of purchases...
