BIOLUXE Shampoo B1G1 Free on Sale for $9.99 buy 1 get 1 free. On the bottle is a hang tag "try me free after MIR" form. I don't have the details as of yet on the rebate requirements (dates, etc.)
The second bottle will be free instantly and submit the MIR for the one you pay for!
YMMV if all stores will have the MIR forms on the bottle.
NOTE: MIR FORM FOR CONDITIONER ONLY.
If you want a shampoo and a conditioner, be sure to have the Conditioner RUNG UP FIRST, then get the shampoo as your Get one free item!!
The rebate is only on the conditioner, so you need to make sure you buy one of them. I did this today -- need to check my receipt and make sure that the conditioner did not ring up free!
Also, the rebate seems to be a Visa gift card. On the bright side, I think the rebate form claimed you get it in 2-4 weeks.

Bill,
can you clarify. were the MIR forms only on the conditioner or does the wording on the rebate form specifically say the conditioner only?

Yes, the wording on the rebate form specifically says the conditioner is free. I bought 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner, I didn't pay attention and the casher scanned the shampoo first, so the conditioner showed up as free on my receipt. I am going to try anyway I think the people at rebate center should understand, wish me luck!

Alternatively, if there is a phone number on the rebate form, someone could call and ask them about it.

went to CVS and picked up the paper but there is no BOGO in my sale paper in MI nor was anything marked on the shelf. One the other hand I saw hang tags on both the conditioner and shampoo. Where did you see it on sale.
I called the number on the rebate card and explained the ad in the CVC flyer said shampoo or condition. She said enclose a copy of the sale flyer and we may process it. She would not commit. 1-888-859-4003 I will try the buy the shampoo first get free conditioner strategy and enclose the flyer.

1) What does the CVS sale have to do with the MIR? 2) You want to buy the conditioner and get the shampoo free, not the other way around.

think he's referring to the BOGO sale where if you ring up the conditioner as the second item, it shows up "FREE".
but on point #2 you are correct, he's got it backwards....pay for the conditioner, get the shampoo free and you are OK on the receipt.

I rang up the conditioner first and it still came up as the free one. When I asked the cashier about it, she got really snotty.

At my store it was on the end cap with a B1G1F sign. And you said you saw the hang tags on the shampoo. Did you look at them to see if they were in fact for the conditioner rebate??? Maybe whoever put them on made a mistake. It happens.
NoMoneyInMyWallet said: 1) What does the CVS sale have to do with the MIR?.Well, given that the rebate form specifically says CVS/pharmacy on it, I get the impression that this is a CVS store brand, so they should care if their sale causes problems getting the rebate attached to the product.
BTW I just checked my receipt and my conditioner did ring up at $9.99, so I got lucky. I cannot offer any insight on how I had them scanned as I was not paying attention. I did notice that they will take a photocopy of the receipt, which is good since I had some Glade fabric softener on there and wanted to use the receipt for the Glade $5 rebate.

Yes I did and they were 9.99. It looks like CVS sales papers are now regional. Most of the deals listed this week on the forums don't exist in my area.

MI got hosed this week with their ad. It's only 2 pages, not the regular one. Also, the deals from outside MI will not work (confirmed by people on SD).
I suggest calling CVs corporate to complain about the ad.

any ideas why CVS runs such crappy sales in MI? seems strange, plus the economy is so weak in the auto belt area, you'd think those folks need all the help they can get!

No the sales paper is actually like 15-16 pages long in MI with few good deals.

This is the first time I've seen regional sales at CVS. Maybe something new.

They have always been a CVS store. This is the first time that I noticed that none of the posted deals applied to MI so I went out to cvs.com and put in 48044 (MI) and compared it to 90210 (CA) and they are different.
Does anyone know the order the shampoo and conditioner must be scanned this week in order for me to pay for the bottle of conditioner and get the shampoo free?
pavi123 said: got this, there are many other shampoos and conditioners with try me offer at CVSThat is true, but what makes this special is that it's B1G1F this week, so you get *2* bottles free instead of 1.

It used to be that they had to do a return without receipt for you to get a gift card.

I bought "Smoothing" Conditioner and Shampoo; CSR rang up conditioner first, then shampoo. My receipt has the same wording for both items: BIOLUXE SMOOT 15.5
I bought 2 conditioners, so my question is not what comes first. I paid with a $10 ECB and it showed as CVS MFR coupon and then I used a GC to paid the $0.86 for sales tax - $0.01.
Do you guys think in order to get the rebate I should do a return and re-buy and pay out of pocket, so it doesn't show I only paid $0.86?

just a quick question, i sealed my rebate envelope and after reading the directions it said to attach a photocopy of the original receipt. would just sending in my original receipt invalidate the rebate per directions as to send in a "photocopy" is that usually a must if it's the other way around? (usually most rebates say to send in the original receipt )

no, that won't be a problem. won't invalidate the rebate. if it asked for original and you sent a copy, then you'd have to worry.
monvivant said: ..... after reading the directions it said to attach a photocopy of the original receipt. If that's the case, buy 2 conditioner, zerox the (original) receipt and go back to store to exchange conditioner for shampoo, if one wants the shampoo instead. Won't have to worry about which scans first.
