Make this deal better with the $1.25 coupon from the (RP 1/31). If you don't have this sunday paper insert coupon you can go to www.coupons.com and there was a printable $1.00 coupon for it there but not sure if they pulled it yet or not.

Actually Bill, it is FAR this week. That is what you meant to say though.

I just bought one and got the $6.00 Register Rewards coupon and then went to another location and used to coupon for the purchase of another bottle of this bodywash, but no additional Register Rewards coupon came out and the cashier refused to provide me one.

There is also $0.40+ tax on the product. The fine print of the original rewards coupon did not saying that you can't buy the same product or you can't apply it towards the purchase of the same product. It only had exclusions for tobacco, alcohol, medicine, tax, poultry and dairy. The advertising also did not say anything that you can't apply the coupon for the purchase of the same item. All it said was that a customer gets 1 printed rewards coupon per purchase.
If they do have these exclusions, then shouldn't they be put upfront in print so there would be no confusions? Because it is in my best interest to save money for myself and not for the company. If some Walgreens copywriter screwed or missed up the fine print then why should it be my fault?
It is also in Walgreen's best interest to stay in business and that trumps what is in your best interests.

We can play "he-said-she-said" forever but the facts (fine print) is the proof at the store should played their end of the deal.
If worst comes to worst then I will just send a complaint to FTC and make a chargeback on my card.
I used to work for Macy's corporate and we had a lot of customer issues about the coupons and fine print (exclusions) and basically the customer was always right and was issued EGCs for their trouble. The fine print of Macy's coupons is often unclear and not always "up-front". Usually the customer was give the 1-800 number which lead to nowhere, but if the customer somehow got the email or the phone number of the secretary of the VP of Customer Services (there is such a person at Macy's) then everything was resolved fast.
Come on guys, be fair. Don't compare Walgreens to Macy's. That's really low. Macy's coupons exclude just about everything in the store. The Macy's coupons should state what the coupons ARE good for. There would be less fine print.
Also, there are some $1.75 coupons for Dove Men's that I got via snail mail yesterday.
Walgreens 101: You can't use RRs on the same deal and get RRs (unless the RRs are rolling, which doesn't happen very often).

Also, there are some $1.75 coupons for Dove Men's that I got via snail mail yesterday. I know what you mean. Usually 2 versions of the same circular exists: one version can have a coupon that you are talking about (that excludes "everything") and another coupon that has a lot of exclusions but most of the brands that are excluded from the first coupon can be applied to the 2nd coupon. I seen them side-by-side and they are pretty much identical other than the version #2 is half short of fine print.
My guess is that they sent different coupons for different people, like if you buy a lot on your Macy's card and have the black card then you will get the version of the coupon with less exclusions. Other then this, the coupons also differ in the last 2 digits of the coupons UPC.

I think this would be a great thing to do, since I hate RR's. However, the ad does say "*Limit 1 coupon printed per offer. See coupon for exclusions, limitations and expiration.", and they can tell you that this is how they enforce that restriction.

[Limit 1 coupon printed per offer] means that 1 coupon will be printed from the cash register. If I would to buy 2, 3 or even 4 bottles of this body wash then still only 1 coupon would come out of POS machine.
[See coupon for exclusions, limitations and expiration.] Here is what the fine text says on the coupon:
"EXCLUDES PRESCRIPTIONS AND ITEMS PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALSO EXCLUDES TOBACCO, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SALES TAX, LOTTERY TICKETS, MONEY ORDERS/TRANSFERS, TRANSPORTATION PASSES, POSTAGE STAMPS, DAIRY, PRESCRIPTION SAVINGS CLUB MEMBERSHIP, HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND GIFT/P HONE/PREPAID CARDS. COUPON VALUE CANNOT EXCEED PURCHASE AMOUNT. TOTAL NUMBER OF MANUFACTURER COUPONS/REGISTER REWARDS CANNOT EXCEED THE NUMBER OF ITEMS IN THE TRANSACTION. REGISTER REWARDS MUST BE FORFEITED IF QUALIFYING MERCHANDISE IS RETURNED. CUSTOMER PAYS ANY SALES TAX. COUPON MAY NOT BE BOUGHT, REPRODUCED, TRANSFERRED OR SOLD. NO CASH VALUE. NO Cash Back ."

I sent the complaint yesterday thru Walgreens website and just came home and found the voice message from Store Manager. I didn't really listened to it but he said that I should received the Register Rewards coupon and I can stop by and pick it up.
By the way, Walgreens also has a 2-Liter soda promo this week: 2 for $4.00 + $2.00 in Register Rewards.

I can't see how this would work. WAGS has a policy that you can't use more coupons than the total number of items purchased. RR's count as a coupon for the count total. So it looks like in purchase two, you bought 3 items and used 4 coupons?
Walgreens' (store) coupons don't count towards the total. So, for example, if you bought an item and you had a manufacturer coupon AND a Walgreens' store coupon it would be just fine and it would go through with no beeping. So he could have bought 3 items and used 4 coupons given one of the coupons was a store coupon.

Target has Gillette Fusion razors for $6.99 this week. Plus if you buy two you get $5.00 target gift card. Use the two $4/1 coupon from the 2/7 P&G insert to get two Gillette Fusion for only $.98

You CAN apply a register rewards coupon against the same product (in fact, you did just that), you just won't get an ADDITIONAL register rewards coupon for the second purchase.
Learn the rules of the game and play by them and everyone will be happy.

Here is what I am going to get: Buy Dove body wash. $5.99 - $1 printable coupon = $4.99 plus tax. Get $6 RR. Buy Huggies diaper jumpo pack. $8.99 - $1 coupon or $1.5 coupon from Sunday paper - $6RR = $1.99 or $1.49 plus tax. Get $3 RR. Buy Dove body wash. $5.99 - 3RR = $2.99. Get $6 RR. Then buy Huggies diaper again. Just keep going until run out of coupons.
It should work right since Dove and Huggies are different products from different manu.

Not everyone has a "traget", nor a RA within a reasonable distance...Some are happy that they have a "wallgreens" with workable deals.

Walgreens sunday ad coupon is a store coupon and does not count against Walgreens' policy limiting the number of Manufacturers coupons to the number of items.

Even though we Wags RR veterans know that redeeming an RR on another purchase of the item(s) that generated the RR in the first place will not produce a 2nd RR (often described as not "rolling"), is that NOWHERE is this officially stated by Walgreens. At least not that I have ever found. Not online, not in ads, not on the printed RRs themselves. It's an undocumented secret policy that only FW-types can be expected to know about. So the simple question is, "why?" Why hasn't Walgreens addressed this years ago? Frankly, Walgreens will continue to invite the type of complaint that Alex made until they address this issue. I don't fault him for it. If I were really bored and in the mood for I fight, I would probably create this sort of scenario with some frequency until I got a satisfactory response from Walgreens. Just because some of us are aware, it doesn't mean that it's right. It shouldn't be something one learns about by trial-and-error. It should be explicit.

How about "For any offer (as applicable): offer valid only as stated. Cannot be combined with the same or any offer" on the back of RR coupons. Wasn't it explicit to you ?
It is in the upfront print if you can read. Clearly states in ad "limit one". Hence, cannot use the RR from one to buy another because the computer knows you already bought one as a customer. Buy milk, eggs, and cereal with the $6 RR, then buy another body wash. Any questions?
It does not have to be stated on the RR that you can't use on same item, it's already stated on store sign and in ad as "limit one".

A rumor on the internet that Walgreens has now started rolling RR (meaning you can use same RR for same item and RR will stil print). Good if that's true !
"Limit One" means that only one offer or purchase will generate the RR. In other words, you can buy two items in the same transaction, but only one RR will print. It certainly does clearly state that a second transaction will not produce another RR if an RR is redeemed.
"Cannot be combined with the same or any offer" is vague, legal-ese mumbo-jumbo at best. If anything, that suggests that redemption of an RR will prevent the generation of any RR in that transaction. Thankfully, that is not the case. This particular wording appears on the back of all catalina printout coupons that are issued from many grocery and drug stores. Thus, it does not address anything specifically about Walgreens RRs.
The key element here is being explicit, which Walgreens is not. Would it really be so hard to say something like "Redeeming an RR for the purchase of the original offer will not produce another RR?" Of course not.
There are occasions where RRs do "roll," though these are usually most likely due to oversight. This refutes the notion of the computer "knows" whether or not you have purchased your "limit of one." Walgreens still has to program their system accordingly.
I'm not saying Walgreens doesn't have the right to have limits. They should just state the terms more clearly.
I think some of you should get into politics. And some of you are just plain morons.
