Does it work if the total pre-MIR is $100? Then I would take this, add a filler (like this), for a total of $102.97 less $25 coupon you mentioned less $20 MIR for the drive for a total of $57.97. Will it fly?

how does one get the invite ?

Oh, shoot! The $25 off would drop the price of a DNS-321 NAS I just bought for nearly $90 after MIR and BC from TigerDirect to $77.77 after MIR!! Oh well...

$75, free shipping. Good deal OP. Coupon worked perfectly. Green

click the coupon link in the op's post.

Now it drops to $75

Is Paypal going to verify if you didn't receive the original coupon email? They are usually on top of this. It would be a drag to be denied the $25, which would make this deal average at best.

I thought the problem with that drive is that MIR never comes.

Thanks OP! worked great for me!
$75 shipped

anybody got the invite email form Buy.com or paypal?

Does anyone know some tricks on swapping the drive in these. I opened mine up, and tried putting in a Seagate 500GB drive, but my computer wouldn't recognize it until I put the WD Green Drive back in. I just don't need 1.5TB for what I'm using this drive for (Wii game backup), but I could use it in my desktop.

The invite is from Paypal for being a Paypal Top Customer, you have to spend $5,000 a year and they send you coupons for eBay, buy, etc.

I, too, would be very interested in figuring out how to do this. BTW, I just bought one, so the deal's still alive. Thanks, OP.

Bought one, thanks op!

Excellent deal and perfect timing. In for 1.

I order one suceessfully then I recieved email that Buy.com has refunded 75.00 so send them inquirey and now waiting for response..Are they checking paypal ivite ?

What in sam hill is going on, EVERYTHING even my order at eBay Disappeared, what shady stuff is that?, and why is eBay covering for them? I don't mean it was canceled it DISAPPEARED, all traces.

The price went up; it is now $79 AC.

I paid the extra 24 cents for the non-external version just so I don't have to rip open the enclosure.

You already got green from me op, I just have to say mine came in 2 days Fedex, great deal. My paypal coupon worked fine, I used the coupon link provided. I wish I had another paypal account, I would have bought two.

coupon is no good, BS!

I was able to replace mine with a 250gb drive. You need to right-click MyComputer -> manage -> disk management, locate the drive, usually unpartition and inactive, right-click on it and mark as active, then right-click and format.

Cool, I'll give that a try. The drive I tried using I had just reformatted a week earlier and it was working in my system. My usb ports are buggy too, so maybe that was the problem.
