The reviews on this site aren't all that great; however, for $200 it's not much more than any of the other disposa-grills out there that crap out after a few years. This one gives you the rotisserie (which most don't) and it actually looks decent (which most don't), so it might be worth it.

I'd be more interested to read about the quality of the deflector and if it heats and cooks evenly. Most disposable grills don't. Even if it won't hold up long run, $200 isn't all that bad if it's quality while it does work.

In the long run, you're not going to get a grill that holds up for any less than $400-500 unless you can garage it. I still laugh at the covers they give you with these grills. I think the cover does more damage than letting it get rained on...they hold in humidity and rust all the components.

A couple things you can do to make grills last a lot longer...

1: Get some high temp flat black(or other color as long as it is high temp for grills) grill paint and paint the burners and the inside bottom of the grill. I did this with my cheap $99 grill and it lasted 5 years outside.

2: Don't use a grill cover unless it is breathable. Most grill covers are just fancy plastic sheets that will trap moisture around the grill and rust faster. Its basically like putting your grill in a sauna and then wondering why it rusted so fast.

Those 2 things usually keep grills going a long time. I just got a new one and when I was putting it together I did the flat black grill paint on the burners and inside.

Oh and not all stainless steel is made the same. I see some grills advertise about having SS but they use 430 SS not higher end types. 430, and other cheap SS, will rust just like most other iron based metals. Better then untreated, but in a high heat and being outside and wet will cause it to rust quickly. So treat it, flat high temp grill paint, and enjoy a longer life.

Back when you could get a weber 3-burner spirit grill for under 400 it was a no brainer to ante up for something that had better heat distribution (thereby using less LP), solid warranty, easily available replacement parts, and could last for 10 years without much effort. I still think that's a better way to go even though prices on the weber have increased quite a bit.

Does anyone know if this can be converted to house/domestic natural gas?

Is this one a bit better?
