Arggg! Still waiting for some good prices on 11.6 acer/gateway with dual core intels (su2300 or otherwise). Seems like only the single core (su3500) versions are available lately.
All i7 720QM generate a lot of heat. My friend's Dell that it works fine (over 4 months now). He uses the laptop on a laptop cooler device.

We just purchased the Gateway (EC1803u) 11.6" NETbook (this is not a notebook) from Circuit City.com for the same price & didn't have to pay for shipping. We also went through FatWallet's Cash Back & got 3% back! Score!

That's what I'm afraid of. The su2300 was such a good value with dual core since it was put in the lower-end high-end netbooks, if you get what I'm saying. All the i chips seem to be in the $475 and up range while the su2300 could be found $400 and less, until a couple months ago.
