I can vouch for this stuff- my ds has done many an elementary school project with this stuff (the solar system comes to mind)- it adheres to most anything, you might want to get a couple of sets...if nothing else, it might entertain your kiddie for a couple of minutes
Space Lava is a foam-like material that consists of tiny micro beads that are able to stick together and form just about anything. There is no glue needed. Shape it with fingers and combine colors. It can be used over and over again.
Children can turn Space Lava into a work of art on paper or any other surface because Space Lava will stick to almost anything. It can be flattened or sculpted into a standing art piece It can be used to decorate items such as flower pots, doll houses, wooden or plastic building blocks, walls and even shoes! Never dries out You will receive 12 individual containers. Each container measures 3 inches round by 2 inches high Completely safe for children. Not recommended for children under 4 years old
Just about to pull the trigger on this, but sounds like it can stick a bit too well: As Seen on TV # Space-Lava is safe, non-toxic and will not harm skin. # Not recommended for children under 5 years age. # Do not swallow.(Seriously? Isn't this the same as Dippin' Dots?) # Avoid contact with clothes and upholstery # After playing with Space-Lava, always put it back in container and wash hands. # Avoid contact with hair, carpets and fabric as it may stick and will be difficult to remove.
