This is a good gun. My ex-wife has this gun and I have shot it several times. Its very light/small(she carries it in her purse). A couple of things I noticed; Its double action only and has a pretty stiff trigger pull. I never got used to the stiffness, but she is pretty accurate with it. Also, if I remember correctly, it does not have adjustable sights.
I noticed a few reviewers saying they got the gun for just a little over $200. The reviews weren't dated and I am wondering how good this price is. I'm actually really interested in this gun and hope someone can let me know.
I haven't seen this gun any cheaper in over 3 years. It's hasn't been that long since you could regularly find it closer to $250 than $300. Great gun though, and Kel-Tec's customer service is tops.

And as others have said, yeah, stiff heavy trigger but usable if you just pull it and don't try to finesse it. This is one gun you don't have to worry about NDs via dropping.

Price is respectable... FFL fee needs to be considered.
This is a decent gun for those capable of shooting it. As others have stated the trigger pull on this double action is anything but easy. It is also well known that a protion of these guns are known to have feeding ramp issues when new. You can google "Keltec fluff and buff" for an easy fix should this be an issue.
i have it and after 20 rounds the wrist and forearms are hurting. it is a great conceal gun but i am looking at the 380 now since i can drop 50 rounds at range and hit everything. i had a hard time hitting black with this gun..
Went to a local gun shop today, played around with this pistol. Feels cheap...but good for concealed carry. The Ruger 380 looks identical, and from what the guy at the shop said, Ruger basically ripped off the Kel-Tec (and simply improved the grip).
I'm just going to drop the coin and get a Sig P238 for CCW. It's a great feeling little pistol (although it's much more than this Kel-Tec)...

And with the P238 SIG ripped off the Colt Mustang and didn't improve much of anything. I have the Mustang and while I like it a lot and the SIG is a much "nicer" gun, between it and the Kel-Tec 3AT/Ruger LCP the latter carries better and makes for a better small pocket gun in some ways. The Kel-Tec isn't nicely finished but functionally they work and that design is just about perfect for what they are. Which is why Ruger blatantly ripped them off. lol
I have actually ownded a Kel-Tec P-11 for a long time and really never use it because it does hurt the palm of my hand and it does missfire (I assume due to the feedramp issue). My Glock 30 (45 cal.) does not hurt the palm of my hand.
Check out the Kel-Tec Owners Group (http://www.ktog.org/reviews-p11.htm) for more information on this hand gun.

I like the Kahr Arms PM-9 9mm 3" Polymer Stainless LINK Not bad, but after doing some research, Kahr seems like a young company and the design of the PM-9 seems a little off. Of course this is purely based off of the internet, so I would need to see one in person to make a good decision.
Anyone know if the P-11 is any larger than the Kel-Tec 380 that is very similar in design? I just finished going around town with an outside carry with my Springfield XD-9 Sub Compact and it seemed huge (OC is legal in Utah). I defenately want something smaller for CC (my license will be approved any day now).
I have a Kel Tec P3AT. In my opinion it's a very good choice for anyone looking for the smallest possible pistol that, if needed, would be both reliable and effective. The earlier models were apparently subject to jamming, but it seems Kel Tec has solved that problem with the more recent versions. Their customer service, I've heard, is first rate. .380 ammunition is now much more readily available than it was last year.
It's very easy to conceal in virtually any pants pocket, with minimal, if any, identifiable silhouette. There's no way around the fact that this is not a pleasant pistol to shoot, however. I have large, fairly strong hands, and after about fifty rounds at most I'm ready to call it quits for the day. If you do get it, I would suggest the after market magazine with the extension. That way you can grip it with one extra finger. Applying a small bit of white out to the sight helps. It's quite accurate up to about thirty feet. The double action is appropriate for this type of handgun, and the trigger pull is fairly long but not too stiff. It's never jammed on me or malfunctioned and, frankly, I don't clean it that often.
The gun shop owner I bought it from recommended it very highly, and in preference to the Ruger equivalent, which he said is merely a copy cat of the P3AT. Even though I've always been a fan of Ruger, I think the P3AT is a bit smaller and perhaps lighter. It's marketed as the smallest and lightest .380 available. I don't know if that's true, but I'm not sure I'd trust any possibly smaller .380. The Keltec is about as small a handgun as I would care to rely on.
I bought mine back in 1996 for $209 new, from a local gun shop.
Keltec use to offer a new upper slide and barrel kit in .40cal and the rare 357sig conversion. But you also had to new magazine for .40 or 357.sig. The kits new from Ketec use to be $130-ish.
I have all three barrels, and I really like it in the .40 version.

Add around $30 average for FFL fees. Still a decent price for this gun. To buy at a shop you will add tax, background check, and possibly "transfer" fees. So this will probably still be the best price you will find.
As for people talking about this gun hurting your hand after putting a box of shells thru it... there aren't many lightweight concealed carry guns,.380 and above in caliber, that won't hurt your hand. Comparable Ruger, Taurus, Diamondback, and Keltec pistols all have various drawbacks and all will end with some pain in your hand and wrist after shooting up a box of ammo(50 rounds). My Bersa Thunder380 doesn't hurt my hand at all. But I can't drop it in my pocket and forget about it, the way I can my wife's Keltec P3AT. There are always trade-offs when it comes to ease of concealment and comfort.

what?! you couldnt hit squat at 25' with the p11?! was it because your pinky was dangling?
I have P11 and PF9 and both guns have some serious FTF problems. I would never use as a conceal carry since they jam so much and wouldn't trust this gun with my life. They also eject the brass pretty far, so if you are trying to reload good luck finding them. on the other hand it doesn't really make sense to reload 9MM, but who knows how much it will cost in the future.

Too bad Kahr's are absolute Jam-O-Matics. And no, it's not just an 'internet rumor.' Go to ANY forums, including Kahr's, and you'll see more complaints about FTFs, FTEs, terrible magazine followers, bizarre recoil rod and spring configurations (and out of spec ones), and on and on and on...more so than just about any handgun I've ever come across.
For every person that claims they have a 'good' Kahr, I swear there are two that claim they've given up on the 9mm's and up in Kahr, after frustration heaped on frustration.
Go Glock, Sig, HK instead...if you're going to go through the hassle of CCW, your weapon should earn and instill the confidence that it's going to be more than a paperweight if ever called upon.
