Looks like a good deal for a Citizen Eco Drive watch....$59.99 plus $4.95 shipping.
Never bought from these folks as far as I know...
Found out Eco-drive is light powered. The face is a light panel.

I bought a Citizen Eco Drive watch about 9 years ago now and it's still going like a champ! The great beauty of these particular watches in my estimation is if you do a lot of watersports (assuming the watch you choose is waterproof, lol!) is that you never have to remove the back and disturb the rubber 'o' ring seal to swap-out a failing battery. Can't be beat to my mind, GREEN to you OP!

I bought one in the islands for a deal about 6 years back and it is my favorite watch I have had. I wear it in the water for watersports and also SCUBA diving. I have yet to have an issue. The solar power is great and it eliminates function of the second hand after 30 minutes without light in order to save power. The thing can run for several months straight without light which is pretty cool.

The only issue I have had with mine was wearing it underneath my coat sleeve (and hence not exposed to the dim sunlight) in the KS winter last year. The watch stopped functioning, but exposure to artificial light, ie a lamp in the house triggered it back into life once again! All I had to do was pull out the side button to reset the 2nd hand for half a minute so it counted seconds again as opposed to 'jumping' at 2 second intervals. Fantastic IMO!

I've worn the same eco drive every day for the past 10 years without any problem. The clasp, band, electronics, and movement are all good quality. If the watch suits your taste, this is a very good buy.

Very good price on this watch.
I've ordered many watches online, but never anything from this vendor. They seem reputable, but I always hesitate when it's an online NYC area or Brooklyn source. They don't mention anything about the box, warranty cards, etc. However, the information in the returns section does indicate they want the original box back. None of the other watch descriptions I checked mentioned a box. They probably do include it, but they should explicitly specify it if this is the case.
When all is said and done, I'd say this deal a good bet. They sell on e/Bay, too, and have high (but not perfect) feedback.
...Guess it wasn't such a good bet, after all.

Nice find on the watch - my husband's favorite brand. Other Citizen Eco-Drive Watches on sale at the site, including women's watches, can be found with a quick search.

Found three chronographs for $99 using the quick search link.
That's the best price I've ever seen for a Citizen chronograph.

or you could just get a digital watch:
1. the battery runs much much longer 2. it's faster to read 3. there aren't a hundred little moving parts to break 4. ....

Also found Casio Solar Atomic watches starting at $59! These are solar powered like the Citizens but also feature sync with the atomic clock radio signal for accuracy. I also like the automatic light feature of the Casios where the light activates when you turn your wrist to look at the watch face.

Check resellerratings.com and read all those horror stories first. It seems like one of those shady NY shops that pass used and defective good as new.

I have a Calibre 8700 Eco drive watch and it is the best watch I've owned. Very good quality movement and the hardened crystal face on it (despite not being Sapphire crystal) is completely flawless after 6 years. The stainless steel around the face has all kinds of micro scratches and the crystal itself is flawless and as clear as ever.

Well..as long as it gets sunlight the solar powered battery will outlast your digital watch battery. As far as faster to read, try reading one in full sun. Mainly its the style. I think a digital watch is like a pair of tennis shoes which most people wouldn't wear at a business meeting. Nice deal OP

when you check the customer reviews at resellerratings.com, becareful at this store. the name of this store is Top One International. it has a mixture of positive and negative customer reviews and ratings. Most customers complained that the watches received are the used ones or returned ones... be careful before you jump in and place the order.

nicolasmark said: "the only thing is i don't like the style." For me, that exactly WHY I like this watch! It will lay flat on your wrist, and won't be bulky. A lot of Men's watches sit too high on the wrist, and weigh too much. They're bulky and feel obtrusive.
