I opened the link, only to discover mediocre deals.
For example, today's offer: Taco Al Carbon for .30. Great deal, yes. But they limit 1. Ok, am I suppose to go to El Pollo Loco for just one damn taco? Furthermore, the offer is not compelling enough to make me buy an entire family meal just to take advantage of the .30 taco.
I think these deals benefit individuals who are unaware of the special offers. For example, during lunch today, my associates and I go into El Pollo Loco for a salad bowl. As I am ordering, I notice they have this 'Taco Al Carbon for .30' deal. Great, since I am ALREADY here, I will take advantage of this .30 Taco offer.
Then go when the have the $3 off $15 deal (weekly). Or $3 4PC legs & thighs. Don't knock the deal b/c you can't feed your entire family EPL every day for the month of September with it.

Are you obese by any chance? C'mon, be honest. That family meal you are compelled to buy when you go there just for a "salad" is just for yourself -- not a family -- isn't it? You are so disappointed because you get ONE taco. Poor you. Everyone else on here seems to be appreciative of the post.
Thank you for the post. I'm sure I'll be using at least a couple of these coupons.

No, I am not obese. I have 8% body fat, run a 4.5 40 yard dash, and have a 38" vertical. I weight 170 pounds and bench press 275lbs.
My original post was to convey a simple message: Although the coupon link does have some good deals, they are not compelling enough to adjust my schedule to take advantage of any specific deal. Rather, they work better as an addition to one's already existing order. My original post, if you were not able to deduct, briefly examines how the coupon was unsuccessful as an impulse factor.
Additionally, my reference about going into the establishment with my coworkers was not an actual event, it was purely to substantiate my claim that El Pollo Loco's coupon benefits most those who are already in the establishment.
Again, my post was not to bash the Original Poster. This is an open forum where we, as a community, share with our members, deals and topics we regard as "hot" or interesting.

I agree that the one taco al carbon isn't worth driving there. I go so often that it is just a bonus. The sarcasm of Mark100177 was totally unwarranted. Again, thank you to the OP. No thanks to Mark (who probably has a weigth problem) I shoulnt a said that. That eye for an eye stuff went out a long time ago.... Sorry.

I liked the red hue that the chili powder imbued into the old product. Call me old fashioned...
I have to agree, Los Pollos Hermanos has a great METHodology along with a world class cook.
