I think they are. I like the custom ones and those are easiest to put on. The Invisible Shield one's you have to put liquid on the skin and then squeegy out the excess liquid. I got one for my iphone 4 and even though I did apply it right I had to adjust it a few times. Unfortunately, I ended up with a couple bubbles I couldn't get rid of, but I still like the comfort my screen is protected.

Absolutely! I put Invisible Shield on my Sansa screen, it feels like rubber and cannot be scratched, so I can stuff it in my pocket (which I tend to do) without worry.

Invisible Shields are good. I had one on iphone and it lasted for almost 2 yrs. Finally I had to take it off because I was looking for a change.
I've used it on my blackberrys and over time (over 9 months), the skin starts to yellow. On my curve 8900, the back is a tinge of gold instead of being gray.
I resorted buying generic ones for a few bucks on eBay for the screen of my blackberry. I think its actually much better. It applies easily and doesn't turn yellow.
They are good for what they are, but if you have a iphone/ipod touch, you don't need a skin for the front. Its made out of glass and won't scratch under daily use. The back is another story, and if you are worried, then invisible skins might be great. If the discount works, I would look at the zaggskin, which have designs or can be custom designed.
