Macy's has the Serta Perfect Sleeper Blue Nile Limited Plush mattress set for $297 with an additional $70 for delivery as part of their Labor Day deals. It's a close-out model with a 10-year warranty and has fairly good reviews. You can also get the split foundation for another $100.

I talked to a Macys representative over the phone and she said the mattress has a comfort rating of 2.5, with 1 and 5 being sleeping on bare floor and clouds respectively.
Note there was a previous deal on this mattress here
Thanks OP, based on a flyer, I purchased 1xQueen Serta Blue Nile Plush=$207.76 (Twin/Full/Queen are all same price) 1xHigh Box=$89.24 1xKing Serta Blue Nile=$515.60 2xKing High Box=$90.70x2=$181.40 Total (with $62.13 MA Tax) = $1056.13 with Free Delivery & 12/Mo. no interest on the Macy's Card. Bottom line 1 Queen Set & 1 King Set for $1000 delivered.
I think it was the Blue Nile rather than Blue Line posted by OP, but awesome price for value.
I know everyone has their own preference, and I appreciate that, but after sleeping on 5lb memory foam, I won't even sleep on anything else. And my queen set was <$400, so it's something to think about if you've never tried them before.
I can't speak to actual quality yet, but if you see the pricing post I made -- I think it is an excellent deal even if you cannot swing the free delivery (check if you can add some stuff from the same dept. to qualify for free delivery).
Yes Biglots does have Serta mattresses on sale this week. There's a thread about this on FW here. But for the price, this mattress is fairly tough to beat. Just comparing the coil counts, this one has 650 and the biglots one (the Danford model @ $480) has 530.
Another issue that was relevant for me (in TN), you can't return mattresses by state law. However, the Macys warehouse is in Atlanta, so that allows the possibility of return, in case I really dislike the mattress.
I got the Queen, ~ $400 after tax. Delivery in a week.

Most certainly was the Blue Nile. I blame it on dyslexia and age
Ok so there were a number of people there feeling out this mattress. Let me tell you this is one of the least comfortable mattresses I have ever laid on. This was shared by the 3 other people there. Their faces were priceless....basically like "ewwwwww" haha. Really suggest people try it before they buy it.

I got the Queen, ~ $400 after tax. Delivery in a week. For a change MA laws prevail, my receipt says:
60 Days to try and then 7 days for a reselection or return (undamaged/unsoiled/free of stains), with $70 pickup fee and 10% preference fee (whatever this means?).

What flyer? How did you get that price for the King?

Overstock.com Their cheap shipping comes in handy on these too. Here's a link to several.
I wouldn't buy another Serta if I had to choose between it and a haystack. Between several family members and myself, the last 6 Serta sets I've had experience with have been horribly uncomfortable and of poor quality. They all wore badly and felt lumpy and uneven after only a year or two.

Any reviews from people who are sharing their mattress with less than 3 others?

Most of those are only 3lb, a couple are a mix of 3lb and 4lb. Here's a link to 10" mattress with 5" of 5lb foam for $439 http://www.amazon.com/Queen-Deluxe-10-Inch-Memory-Mattress/dp/B00076XBFI
Damm....I want to know where to get the bed in the ad above. I really like it.
soccerchamp said: Thanks, OP. I'm in. Appears to be a good deal for a guest bedroom.
I went to the store to evaluate the set. I was not happy about the quality even if it would only be used occasionally. The construction was not what I would expect from a Macy's product. When I sat on the edge; the mattress squeaked and it was not very supportive in the middle. It would appear that one would have to spend around $600 to get a half decent entry level queen set. The sales person (who I regard highly due to past given advice) said that was their cheapest set. It is used to pull people into the store.
Cancelled my order.

As shown, Amazon carries it via dynastymattress ($439). Do they charge sales tax in CA? Also, it looks like dynastymattress in based in Westminister, CA. Would be nice to check it out in person. Dynastymattress website shows $419 + tax. Both have free shippong. Also would it be available for pick up to save money.

Although the Product Features section says 5" Memory Foam, it also says 7" High reililence Polyurethane Base Foam, and that it is a 10" mattress. 5" + 7" = 12", so the math doesn't add up.
Then lower down in the Product Description section, it says: This Mattress is made with 5.3lb Density with 3" 100% Memory Foam and 7" High resililence Polyurethane Base Foam. 3" + 7" = 10" so this is probably the right description. 3" of memory foam instead of 5". Bummer.
That's actually better for most of us, just a 2.5" to 3" comfort layer. 5" is way too much unless you were really big. Otherwise your midsection would sink too far through it, leaving your feet & head suspended (poor support for lower back). And all of it being 5lb+ density, a solid 5" at the top would sleep really hot (you'd at the very least want latex or some other channeled/vented core underneath for some airflow, not glued on to another solid block of cheap PU foam). Really just 2" of comfort layer atop even the most firm core foams will alleviate pressure points for most of us.
Anyway I am not a fan of these cheap sertas. Not just the foam layers, but there's also not much to the springs either.
