Nice, my 1st AR was a DPMS A3 Lite 16 (same as this kit). Pic doesn't show a BCG in the kit, and it isn't mentioned in the text so not sure if it is included or not. It should be though since it states that all is needed is lower receiver and accessories.
I see the BCG in the Oracle Kit, but not the A3 Lite. I may have to jump on this. I've been wanting a flat top upper forever so I might get this and sell the spares (I'll keep my assembled lower! Hmmm
So with this lower and upper for $471.90 how would this compare to most complete Ar-15's you can purchase? I've been wanting to buy one for awhile and this is an awesome deal, but I don't want to purchase something then find it's missing some good features.

Guess I'm going to build an AR. In for one. Thanks, Pirate Steve and green green green
Does anyone know if there are any compatibility issues with using a non-DPMS lower with these? I know most AR-15 pieces go together without issues, but a buddy of mine says the DPMS 308 upper only fits the DPMS lower. Just thought I would ask.
For those who are apprehensive on a full build you can get a pretty much pre-built one here via this route for $500 + sh and FFL receive. Probably about $50 more.
yes on 308 lowers you will need a dpms received. i beleive there are two different types for 308 but it will specify when you buy something. as for 223 i think there all the same

The A3 Lite 16" does not come with a carry handle - they are both an A3 flattop upper receiver. The only noticable difference I could see is the Lite includes a standard FSB while the Oracle kit has a railed gas block. Everything else looks to be the same from what I can tell.
Nice deal. Heads up: I don't see a flash hider on the Lite kit. It's there in the Oracle kit. Probably just a photo oversight, but make sure it's included when you order.
Also, you'll need tools to assemble, but they are fairly inexpensive.
