I bought a pair of these "oem" from an obscure seller on Amazon once. It came in a padded envelope. It was obvious when I started using it that it was a knockoff. It worked ok for music but most of the function keys didn't work at all and no one could hear me on a phone call.
I did end up buying a real one from Newegg later and love it so if this is legit then its a great deal.

If one likes the S9 design and features and willing to pay a few more $, I'd recommend the s10's here. Should be around $50 after discount plus shipping. The s10's have a better bluetooth radio in them. If you are outside (ie no barriers around), the bluetooth signal does not "bounce" around as well as the s10 model, causing drops in connection (especially when running). I had this problem with the first generation of this model several years back. This has been greatly improved in the s10, as well as having a little better audible quality i believe. Depending on the size/shape of your head, you may not be able to wear these hours on end, as they seem to be on the snugger side. It also helps music quality if you change to the bigger ear buds that come with. The different buds are to change the output of the music (more or less bass, etc.)

I got them for working out. The sweat ended up killing them. I went through like 3 pairs like that.

I gotta agree, these are not comfortable for long term use and sometimes there's static and sometimes cut out with my Dell E6510 BT.

And the S10 is well known to have worse audio fidelity, despite its "higher" model number.
On the other hand, this thread is about the very outdated S9, compared to the S9-HD which includes SRS, fixed the waterproofing issue, and most importantly upgraded Bluetooth stability. This thread deserves red. You want the S9-HD cans.

The S305s have a 4/5 rating on Amazon (914 rated it). I would hardly call them inferior to the other headphones mentioned in this thread regardless of what you see on some spec sheet.

not that i care i get red or green but why does it deserve red?
s10 sound quality is not as good from many reviews; s9-hd might be better but there's no sale and it is double the price.
for s9, this is the lowest that i can find and i love it when i had chance to tried it.
never tried s305 but it looks pretty bulky and a sweaty nightmare.

Ok, my two cents worth. I have the S305's. My experience has been mixed. My first pair went all defective on me after a month, refusing to charge. Moto sent me a replacement for free (kudos). That pair is still going over a year later. They routinely get soaked with sweat at the gym, no problems with them shorting out yet. However, the foam covers over the earpieces are pretty gross when they are soaking wet. Moreover, the listening experience is not so good in an indoor gym where management insists on playing deafening speed-metal anthems over the PA system all day long--- the 305's do nothing to isolate you from that kind of background noise. Not so much a defect as an inherent limitation of any small on-ear headset, in all fairness.
My biggest issue with the 305s is that they do not reliably pair with my also-made-by-Motorola Droid. Most of the time they connect ok, but there continue to be days where the handshake is lost for no apparent reason, forcing an on-off cycling of the headset to get everything right again. No excuse for that in my book.
Re/ the s9 posted in this deal: knock-offs? That's being polite. They are almost certainly counterfeits. Run away.

I think these sound better, but you look kind of dorky wearing them, unless your hair covers them. I use mine to connect to the computer in the house, so I really don't care what I look like.
