If you do a search for WD harddrives, it lists the Western Digital Elements 1TB Portable Hard Drive for 79.99 which would be 55 plus tax after coupon. Not sure why price doesn't come up when adding to cart but this would be a cheaper option if you don't have the need for usb 3.0
The size on Western Digital Elements 1TB Portable Hard Drive is bigger, and Essential SE give you better looking outside. Some people do go for style.

This drive has an instant -$10 coupon. Anyone with experience in applying the 25 off 75 coupon together? Will I get -$35 off?

The WD Passport Essential SE uses a HDD whose system board has a USB connector, not a SATA connector. That's why it's smaller than the WD Elements Portable. The Elements uses a standard SATA drive, with the extra space in the case taken up by a SATA to USB board. The Passport Essential SE has a much smaller adapter which just converts from the drive's proprietary USB pin-out to mini-USB. There are plenty of user-submitted pics of this on Amazon's listing for the USB 2.0 version of this drive. http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B002OB49... (Bleh, FW's redirect is breaking the link. Just click on the right-most photo with "notes" underneath it.)
So don't buy this planning to pop it open and remove the HDD to use in another system. It won't work because it doesn't have a SATA interface.
Got a 25 off 75 coupon from e-junkie site and when tried using it, i rcvd error msg. "Coupon already redeemed". So I tried checking out as Guest, but got the same error msg and then I created a new account and received same error message yet again. I see a few others got coupons from this website but for some reason the coupon emailed to me just doesn't work on any account. Emailed them thrice but no reply yet. Tried calling their 714-xxx-xxxx listed on PayPal but it says "Ph cannot be reached". Kinda fishy for me till now. Hope they respond soon, before this goes OOS. Oh well, my $0.69. ;-((. Hey.. don't laugh.. that's 69 pennies right there. Money is money.. Aaaarrgghh.. Green for OP though

Did not work..but I just saved $65.88. Thanks OP!
Purchased a coupon from eBay. Waited for 20 minutes.. no emails Purchased another coupon from e-junkie Received coupon code immediately Added the item to cart and applied the coupon. Total looks as expected Went back to the product description to make sure that it is indeed the 2.5" drive Tried to submit the order. Error "Coupon Already Redeemed. We're sorry, but our records show that the coupon has already been used. Please correct the coupon code or use another coupon." By this time the other coupon code arrived Tried to add that coupon. Same error. "Coupon Already Redeemed. We're sorry, but our records show that the coupon has already been used. Please correct the coupon code or use another coupon."
stirliz said: Hmmm, my order status shows "Researching", and |We're sorry, but problems with your order may prevent us from delivering it on time. |
Does anyone know what that means?Might be low probability of this happening, but they could be comparing your coupon code against your rewards number. Did you use a bunch of coupons at once?

Back again, and cheaper. On-line price is $79.99, so $54.99, if you can the coupon to work.
