This looks like a great deal!!! Thanks, just what I was looking for for dd. Might even be a better camera than the one I am using that I paid about $30 more for!! LOL!!
Great find! I suggest you add "IS" to the title, because according to the Amazon site, this camera DOES have the image stabilization feature. I have purchased and gifted about a dozen of the IS series cameras, and have several for my family use. I would ONLY buy a camera with IS, because it uses optical stabilization, which has proven FAR better than the digital stabilization offered in most other brands and in the lower-price Canon cameras.
Since these no longer use AA batteries, they come with a rechargeable NB-8L battery and charger. To really use this camera, you'll need a couple of extra batteries, but man, are they expensive from Canon (about 1/3-1/2 the price of this camera deal for each battery)
Amazon has some w/free shipping for under $10 each, and other vendors often sell generic replacements for even less. These two claim 1-year warranties, and free prime shipping...
