Anybody have experience with this provider? I her been very happy with astraweb.com at $11 a month.

Thanks OP - I signed up for 1 yr unlimited at $5/mo. Gonna update my entire library to 1080p. Bad part is I might need to upgrade my 'net connection, as I can only D/L 0.5TB/mo if I set it to overnight downloads only.

I was on the $11 astraweb then switched to $6 NGD since last year. I must say I've never had a single issue with astraweb but NGD seems to choke on me time to time, but for half price i guess i'll take it. It shows me the provider does make a difference so not sure about this one though i will jump to the $5 if it's at least the same quality as NGD.

The $5 deal is out of stock

I've been using them for a few months now with a 400 GB block. Decided to jump in on the 500 GB block plan (and pretty much have nearly full year of newsgroups covered for $25 based on my pace). I have a backup block from Astraweb and used to be on Giganews, haven't noticed any issues with thecubenet compared to previous. I wish I could say the same about NZBMatrix.

I got in on the $5 deal. Haven't used usenet in years but looks like a great alternative and much safer.

I wrote about how I am using usenet to cut the cord and automagically download all the movies and TV shows I want here of anyone is interested:

It's back on for $5.99 til Wednesday.
