The X10's have A+ sound but are truly substandard in quality of construction. I'm on my 3rd pair now due to hardening of the wiring jacket and tearing of the wire near the earbud. I use these almost daily due to frequent air travel and they simply cannot hold up to this sort of usage. Given the original $200 price I paid, I cannot say I'm too pleased though Klipsch has replaced them via warranty exchange each time I've returned them.

It is good to know this headphone is good for air travel
