edit: there are a boatload of bad reviews link, kinda wish I read them before buying, but it was cheap.

I used restaurant.com gift certificates 4-5 times the last year and the restaurants have no problem accepting them. Just like getting a free dish per table.

btw, the restaurant i bought ran out of the $25 gc so i bought the 2 of $50 and it's $2 each.

Yeah, be careful. I just returned from a restaurant that says they are not honoring certificates purchased after 12/1/11, yet they are still selling them on restaurant.com.
So, I would make sure they are still accepting them before you buy them.

If that happens, restaurant.com will give you a credit back you can use at any other restaurant on the site. It happens a lot when restaurants go out of business or leave the program. I always call right before I go to the restaurant and confirm they are still in the program just in case.

i knew that, but i'm just merely stating that it would be better if he/she post the restaurant name and location so any fwers buy gcs would avoid buying that restaurant.

This site is always a scam. Read the fine print. Very few actual restaurants. And they charge a huge gratuity.
18 percent usually and I do not consider that huge

Some of us actually pay gratuities. Not everything has to be free if it is on here. People who skimp on the grats or screw over the wait staff are the ones that ruin many of these kind of deals.
I tip well even if it is not forced. Amazing how often the wait staff remember me and treat me well.
