It works, however, the implementation is bad as it has to be plugged in directly to the wall.It is a real bummer when one has to plug 2 things into the socket and the powerline adapter is blocking the second plug. I had to get an extension cord.

If you plug this into the top of the outlets, and the plug upside down, it will not block the other one.

Tip: If you plug into a receptacle on the same circuit, this thing is great. However, if it is not on the same circuit, result vary greatly.
I learned the hardway. Got 85Mbs in the same room, same cicuit, but got 5 Mbs in another room different circuit.
