The reviews on this other one are great but I've never seen one of these in action. I'm looking for a decent 55" lcd with a matte screen (I think this has one).
I have two hannsprees -- I started out with one because it fit the shelf in my bedroom perfectly, and since that worked well, bought one for a replacement main tv.
The only negative is the built-in speakers tend to be pretty crappy, though that's not uncommon. Picture quality, etc, are all good. Most universal non-learning remotes won't be able to control them, though (eg, my TiVo programmable remote will turn it off but not on), but they'll work fine with a harmony remote.

Try using the LG codes for your Hannspree TV - it worked for me!
