Get at least 450W power supply to replace the original while you're at it. Be aware of 20 vs. 24 pin power connector between PS & MB.

I assume this means a VGA connector, which would still make it feasible for HTPC use IF it supports 1920x1080 resolution as most newer TV have a VGA connector .. I could not find any specs on the resolution support so if anybody knows ... if you are looking for a HTPC box, a good choice is the gateway SX2855-UR30P, I3 processor, 1TB drive, wireless included, HDMI output (can be configured to have audio out on HDMI), just has intel graphics but sufficient for HTPC use, small form factor. I have one of these and it makes an excellent HTPC, just add a TV Tuner card or USB device, this is available at Micro Center for as low as 399 ...

Got this off a certain auction place for about $275 not long ago. Actually bought 2 of them. Great machines for the price. You just need some cheap video cards with low-profile brackets. I happened to have several Radeon 5450 with said brackets and by swapping in this card and 8GB RAM you have a desktop machine that can handle damn near anything. I've got one as a media center/server and the other as a daily driver. Fantastic rigs for the price. A video card such as a 5450 is cheap, maybe $25 to $30 tops. Add RAM which is dirt cheap as well. No-brainer.
