We needed another car seat and we've had good luck with our Britax Marathon so I sent my husband to SuperTarget today to get one for his car. They are on sale for $150.00. I checked his receipt when he came home and he paid $124.99 and it said Britax Roundabout. I wasn't too happy, assuming he had gotten the wrong carseat. I went out to the garage and it is the Marathon; for some reason it rang up as the Roundabout.

$124.99 is a great price on a Marathon if anyone else is looking for a carseat.

This was at the SuperTarget in Wesley Chapel, FL.

That is a great price. I've been in the market for one of these so I may be making a trip to Target tonight. Thanks.

Hmmm. The Marathon Classic is showing up for $150.00 online.

I'd like to see if other B&M Target stores are showing this price.

It is listed for $150 in the weekly circular.

Yes, it was $150 in the circular, but it rang up $125 at the store.

I have no idea which seat to get at this point. Our 7 month old is 22 pounds now and is already getting a little big for the Graco Snugride 35 so we were going to bump up to the Britax to make life easier but given the new rear facing until 2 rule I should probably get one of the ones that rear faces until 40 pounds. Our moose is going to need it.

No love in SLO, CA Target. They don't even carry the marathon there. They did have the roundabout marked at $ 150 & they had the 'Ashton' roundabout marked at $ 124.79.

I believe this Britax is a convertible so it can be setup for rear facing until your child is the size/weight limit or 2 years old.

We have the Recaro convertible seat and it is great. Our daughter is 17 months old and she has reached the seated height limit so she is now front facing. But she is in the 95% for height for kids her age, so she is very tall.

Yes, the Marathon works as a rear-facing seat... I have had 2.

Anyone have luck? Want to know there was another success story before I pack up the little one and head out to Target. Thanks!

Don't bother, OP got VERY lucky. The box had wrong barcode, as it rang up as a roundabout.

Rear facing until as close as possible to four that you can get to there within the limits of your seat. Your child is 500% safer rear facing than they are forward facing!

There are taller seats that will allow your child to continue to rear face. She is MUCH safer rear facing than she is forward facing. In fact, she is 500% safer rear facing than she is forward facing. Look into the Sunshine Kids Radian for a narrow seat that has very tall top slots.
