After reading the reviews, the ASUS GeForce 210 has a heatsink and may be better for videogames, but it had quite a few reviews of it dieing after 9 months or being dead on arrival. The Radeon HD5450 had all reviews at or above 4 stars, may not be great for gaming, does not have a fan, but doesn't run very hot so doesn't appear to be at risk of overheating unless you are playing heavy video games. In summary, if you don't play video games, the HD5450 is the more reliable card and a good bargain at $19.99 after rebate. If you play video games, pay more money and get a better card.

Don't know where you got that info but the GF210 is a lower rated card than some integrated graphics like the HD32xx/HD33xx/HD42xx series, the HD5450 is 3-4 levels above the GF210. Look Here
Spend a few dollars more and get this one for $44.99 after rebate + shipping. This card is almost worthless except for Facebook games, basic videos, and maybe web surfing.

Completely disagree. If you're looking for an inexpensive, passive HTPC card with excellent features, the 5450 is pretty hard to beat.
One more vote for that. Short of a shift to 4k video, I don't think there's anything that could make this card less perfect for HTPC use. There's nothing any newer card could offer that would be useful in an HTPC scenario that the 5450 doesn't have. Combine that with the small height and fanless operation (not to mention the HD audio handling) and this is THE perfect HTPC card. I've got several of these in my HTPC clients and I would never use anything else.

No it didn't. Look over to the right and select Amazon as the seller. Rebate is only good if you buy from Amazon anyway. The other prices you see are from 3rd party sellers.

thanks! just in for one, now trying to find the rebate form, but couldn't find it on Amz website. Does it come along with the package?

Installed and worked. HDMI audio worked as well. As usual ATI drivers screwed by the drivers for HDTV wonder and took 2 days to clean up and fix HDTV tuner.
