I can't help wondering about this "Ruby Engagement Ring: a stunning ruby stone flanked by shimmering diamond". Has anyone found a way to figure out any details on it?

Don't worry, any couple that likes Pizza enough for the guy to focus his proposal around it, and I"m betting the girl will be more excited about the pizza than the ring anyways... lol

No way. For every day of the relationship, you'd hear "You want to hear how Fred tried to propose to me? He bought a package deal from Pizza Hut!"

Yeah I find this a bit strange as well - if you're going to promote a $10,000 package, at least provide details of (maybe?) the most expensive item .. it could be a $100 ruby ring, it could be a $20,000 ruby ring. I know this is kind of a joke on PH's part, but they ARE selling it, so at least give the details on the most important item, and perhaps they will get a few buyers.

Anyone who buys this deserves for their proposal to be turned down.

I find it amusing that you spend 10 grand, but they only give you a $10 dinner box. Couldn't they give you more food, plus wine/champagne, etc.? And why is it $10,010? Did they really have to charge that extra 10 dollars? BTW, if you look at the details, it is a ONE-topping pizza! But they do give you bread sticks and cinesticks...

I actually just signed up for this, just to see what happens, since it doesn't ask for any payment information or even your address. I'll just say someone signed me up as a joke. It says a representative will contact me within 48 hours. I'll be asking them several questions when they call, like "is this for real?", and "what drugs are you guys on?"

LOL! Some here are missing the point. A true FWer would try to capitalize on this deal and not only get a free engagement ring but a free wedding and honeymoon too. Given the crassness of a Pizza Hut proposal, if you are one of the first to complete their Pizza Hut proposal simply posting the proposal experience video (included as part of the package) on YouTube is certainly guaranteed to go viral. The YouTube advertising alone should easily recoup your initial $10K investment. If you are really lucky, your Pizza Hut proposal story will get picked up by AP and your commission profits from there are only limited by the number of Internet portal sites and local news stations who have hour newscasts to fill. Once you have reached that level you are in control. Contact Pizza Hut and sell them your proposal video for future Pizza Hut advertisements.

I have actually considered it on this basis. I wouldn't want to actually get married to my gf though. I wonder if Pizza Hut has added to the terms that they own rights to the video for their own promotional purposes?

I'm so confused by this. It's on "sale" until 2/14/12, and you have to use it by 3/31/12? I mean, clearly, I'm thinking too much into this....but if I purchased it, I'd have to get a dress, invitations, cake, a hall, mail the invitations, get RSVP's back and get my hair and nails done..within just over a month? Does it HAVE to be used by then?
