Way too expensive, even with free shipping. Do people really pay this much for dog food?? I have 2 big dogs - I'd go broke If I paid nearly $70 for a 40 pound bag of food.
Just go to Costco or BJs and get their store brand natural dog food and save a ton of money- They are about as good as Blue Buffalo, which is very good food - I fed it to my dogs before switching to Kirkland Chicken and brown rice.
I've been using PetFoodDirect for a while now because they tend to be the cheapest for the dog food I buy. They almost ALWAYS (if not always) have a free ship code active if you can find out what it is. The last time it was SHIPFREE. They also always have a 15% off code, but you can't stack the two.

It depends on what you want in the way of dog food. Orijen 80/20 adult is consistently rated the highest among places that rate dog foods. The first 5 ingredients listed are all meat based protein. The problem with some bargain brand dog foods are they are much lower in protein and/or they use gluten as their protein source. Dogs will not need to eat as much if they are fed a high protein diet also.
I had two dogs that both lived to 17 and they were fed Dog Chow for most of their adult lives. However, one of them developed kidney problems at 12 yrs that may have been related to their diet, so I switched to premium dog foods and haven't gone back since. The dogs I have are small and I can afford to buy them the best dry dog food I can get, so that's what I do.
Wag.com has FS on $49. Petflow has FS on $49 w/ coupon code 'DEAL". Am@zon can also be competitive on some foods. Don't forget your FW CashB@ck when available.
That sucks, it's either the 15% autoship discount or the free shipping, not both. I can get cheaper at my local overpriced pet food store for the California Natural I buy the cats.
