Love my xd 9mm sub. Slightly small for my hands but it gets my lady to the range and that is a +++

I just bought the XD9 from Kentucky Gun Co for $399.95 with free shipping. 3% credit card fee over there, however.
Great deal, green!

High points are cheap, and they work. But the XD is a quite a bit nicer gun. Worth over 3x as much? That's up to the individual to decide. I think if all you have is $120, having the C9 is better than having nothing. But IMO, if you can swing $400, the XD is a better buy as a whole.

good deal

Just went to my local gun shop to see how much it would be to ship both the 9mm compact and the 9mm sub compact and they said it would be $60 a gun transfer and that they could do it cheaper for $399 a gun without having to ship either of them. Im just wondering if what they said was realistic just cause i see the retail is $499 each gun

Dont go to a gun shop, Try a pawn shop with a FFL, I am in California I pay $35, For California that is a good price. One of the gun shops around me wants $100, They want you to buy from them. In a lot of other states it is only $10 To $20 So you need to do the Fat Wallet thing, "shop around"....: Ask the guys at your gun range where they go.

This would be perfect for my wife. My Beretta PX4 looks like the Hammer of Thor in her hands so I need to get her a smaller polymer 9mm for the range. She does very well with her S&W snubby. Now I remember why I try to stay away from Fatwallet... to save my money!

Unless you live in the People's Republic of Kalifornia, $60 is waaay too much for a FFL transfer. $20-30 is average from what I have heard. I pay $10 for a normal FFL transfer and $50 for a Class III item.
