IEM should be portable and comfortable. If not then why bother. *I have a pair of the Q701. It sounds heavenly. Truly out of this world and much better then 10VI. (Please don't hate on that comment and say 10VI is better then Q701. They are not.) Huh, interesting. I always just wore them the same way I wore any earbuds, with the wires dangling straight down. I guess that stiff part by the ends does help to wrap it around my ears, though I don't really see or hear any advantage in doing so.

Thanks OP! Just picked up a pair for the wife since she is afraid of losing/breaking whatever she uses right now.

You've got to be kidding me I so wanted the mic version but went with a non mic as the other ones were out of stock. Just my luck I guess.

Thank you. Just ordered - at this price a no-brainer.
Will be a nice replacement for that Skullcandy garbage I've been using since my Shures broke.

Over the ears is just if you're going to be moving around and want them to stay in place.
2: Maybe you have it turned up too loud? Or if you mean it hurts your ears, try smaller tips. The complys that come factory are medium, I use a small on the left of mine and I don't even feel it anymore.
3: That's when you wear over the ear, it's what the memory wire is for.
4: This I agree with, they are bulky.
5: This is up to the listener.

I contacted Amazon and they told me to refuse the parcel and they would refund me right away. I also ordered a pair with mic. All good now and Amazon rules.

Mine were waiting for me at the office this morning. Listening now running through my desktop headphone amp that usually drives my Grado SR125's.
Honestly, not impressed by these earbuds. No highs to speak of at all, and rather muddy bass. I'll give 'em a shot right off my cell phone later to see if they're any better in that area and edit this post.

Run them loud for a day or two and see if they improve. Some ear buds improve with use.

Mine arrived yesterday. Not as good as my 5 year old earphones I bought to use with my Zune. I do like the microphone feature and they are comfortable to wear. I would be kicking myself if I had paid any more than $28.

Still haven't got mine, even though their estimated arrival date was March 29. Just can't trust USPS.

Amazon CS is awesome. A forewarning, don't stretch their goodwill too far, they are known to keep track of peoples' returns and purchases and in extreme cases refuse to do business...

Ordered a set of ones with mic, got them the other day. After trying them out, they're going back. The left earbud came unglued and separated without any abuse. I'd chalk this up to a factory defect. If it was a 10-15 dollar pair i'd just superglue it then ignore it, but not these..
The real killer is the sound also isn't that great with either my samsung phone or two other apple devices i tried. Maybe amplified they'd be better but im using them on the go. The foam eartips are better than the rubber ones, but neither are as good as marshmallow tips.
An added annoyance is the noisy and sticky rubber cord. It makes lots of noise when you move around and it's likely to cause you to yank the earbuds.
Thanks for the heads up FW and OP, but this one I'm out.

Just got mine and tried them out. Like the previous poster, I find the amount of noise made when moving or even touching the cord while in use to be really annoying. Even having the cord brush against my clothes while using them was quite audible and distracting. Is there a way around that/am I doing something wrong? Thinking I'll be returning them otherwise. They sounded good once I was able to get them positioned right, but got so annoyed with the movement noise that I ended up switching back to my stock apple earbuds.

Got my mic version. Kinda wish I had gone non-mic as the mic cable version is cheap. The non-mic cable is a braided cable. Oh well. They sound ok. Almost worth $28. I feel they were overhyped by the OP (sorry).

Too bad they're sold out now. Other than that though, sound is good, no complaints on anything else.

Got mine finally. It's good but nothing to be hypered about. I agree the noise made when moving the cord was too loud and can be annoying. I think i will just gift them out as it's not much better than what already have.
