This is a great price for a great camera. EVERY Canon camera (and every camera brand) has a small percentage of Lens errors... The default warranty should cover it. I've always had canon P&S cameras and only replaced for upgrades, not for technical issues... I say go for it.

Those 1-star reviews are disturbing indeed.
I have a Canon PowerShot SD600 I still use to this day. Very reliable and durable.

Awesome camera, I've had mine for over 6 months and no issues. Great image quality, and very good IQ in low light situations. This is the first pocket cam that made me ditch my old Fuji F40FD for low light shooting.

OOS unless local, was a good price though. Bought one from Dell last week for $109 shipped + tax. Is a top pick in several categories at Imaging Resource Very compact camera.
