Just for some info - you can do the same thing with these coupons at Publix if there's not a Target close and get a $5 off Publix gift card AND if you have a $5 off competitor coupon (which I do) $5 off $25 (or $30) spending $2.22 more (to get to $25), but if you would have bought the %5.79 beneful dog food 3.5 lb @ B1G1 Free @ Publix with Publix or Target coupons ($2 off) x2 and $2 off mfr coupons x2 in Sunday paper x2 -> The 2 dog foods would have been free ($5.79 - $8.00 Qs) + you would have made $2.21 overage making the final bill for cat litter $11.39 X 2 = $22.78 - $4.00 (4 Qs) - $5 comp coupon - $5 gift card - $2.21 overage = $6.57 for 2 = $3.29 each BUT ... mine has $2 mfr Q peelies on them so actually -$1 more off each for a "happy to let them poop in it" final price of $2.29 each -

The thing is, the Target coupon is applied before the price match, and the lesser amount of after Target coupon or Price Match is used there, so it's really more advantageous to take it to Publix (if they accept Target Qs) to get both the lower price and the TQ usage, without the hassle.

I'm not sure I understand the problem, because their policy states "Coupon-required or giftcard offers" are excluded (see the bottom of the link I provided).
We price match... Our Low Price Promise ... yada yada yada ... No - they don't. (At least - not yet.) "Coupon-required or giftcard offers" ... If you're not wearing chartreuse underwear ... If you don't have a buzzcut - or at least a high & tight - AND are a Native Arapaho Indian - then you are excluded from our low price guarantee !! Sorry - NO EXCLUSIONS ALLOWED !!
And what's the guarantee anyway. With Publix, if the price rings up wrong, then you get that one item free. That's one of their guarantees. Target walmartz - low price guarantee ... ad match ... AND IF THEY DON"T - do you get the item free - a new car - a massage - two birthdays ?? - NO ... NOTHING.
The problem is - you either price match (or low price promise) - or you don't. It's not - well sort of - sometimes but not during that time of the month. When I walk out of the store with my purchase and a little?? less money$$ - then the price$$ I paid better be equal to or less than @ the competition's - and the money$$ I leave with better be equal to or greater than when I leave the competition. NO EXCLUSIONS !!
