Zinc carbon ... the opposite of long life


These batteries are ONLY good for low-drain devices, like remotes for tv/dvd, etc.


Purchased a set of these both in AA and AAA. Package came poorly wrapped via USPS. The AAs had been impacted damaging 2-3 of them - and the batteries were strewn throughout the package.

I only really have one device that works on batteries and I purchased these for that. Camera shuts off every time I attempt to take a picture. Now my housemates have a decade's worth supply of remote batteries on me.

Not to TC but you can often get get alkalines for 25c/cell at Costco or even others like CVS (BOGO). Frys has store-branded alkalines for 21c/cell 0r 18c/cell (100 pack) and sometimes Vivitar on sale for 50c/4-pack. HTH.
