A paper cutter crossed with a miterbox, or something like that. I don't need one personally, but frankly they had me at "LED guide lines". It's horrible having a gadget fetish.

For those not needing the LED or rotation, you can find cutters like this for much cheaper ($12 bucks for example). Still green for OP for the post and great deal on this model.

I'm just buying it to trim the handling tabs off 4x6 photos from our photo printer. I didn't really need the LED or rotation, but both are potentially handy to have. As long as the LED tracer is accurate, it will actually be quite nice!

On a typical 90º cut, wouldn't the LED be redundant in its helpfulness? IE, there's already a guide near the edge of any cutter that you align the paper to... I don't see how it would add much help in that case. Its value seems to be in angle cuts where there is no guide. So this seems like overkill for photo cropping unless you have other plans.

It's overkill for photo cropping. I'm buying it to keep in my wife's craft room, in case she comes up with other plans.
